Some of the doctors at this practice are great and very thorough, while others are inconsiderate and very cold. Over the years, the practice has become very money-driven and inconsiderate. During my last visit, they did not inform me of their new location and did not honor the 15-minute grace period; instead, they quickly charged a fee. Despite liking some of the other doctors, the lack of understanding of womens needs, especially mothers, and overall empathy, has led me to start looking for another obstetrician. Additionally, they no longer allow mothers to have their children in the waiting area, leading to a larger crowd in the hallway outside the door. Im very disappointed with the service.
Dr. Hawkins is by far one of the best if not the best OBGYN’s that I know next to the one who delivered my daughter 29 years ago in Illinois. She’s very knowledgeable, personable she listens to her patients and she has patience shes just overall a great spirit inside and out. She now sees my daughter who had specials needs and she’s so gentle with her my daughter loves her. I won’t go to another doc but her.
Highly recommend Dr. Arotiba and Dr.Hawkins they are both so great ! Dr.Hawkins delivered my baby with her team of nurses at Piedmont and were all amazing! Listened to my needs and made it a smooth delivery! So grateful for a wonderful team of women
Dr Traci Johnson is amazing! She was one of my obgyns during my pregnancy and she also performed my c section. I was nervous about having to undergo the surgery but she reassured me and helped to calm my nerves. She was with me from start to finish and visited me after the procedure was done to check on me. She is an amazing doctor and I hope every woman gets to experience her presence and amazing work.
Dr. Johnson is amazing! She saved my first babies life and was my first choice for my third baby. She does an amazing job and is very personable. She actually listens to you and your concerns and addresses them. I specifically asked for her to perform my third c-section and it went great! Baby boy was healthy and had a fast and safe delivery. Recovery went much faster then 14 years ago and had no issues! I would recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone that asks. Love you Dr Johnson thank you for saving my sons life and mine and bringing my 3rd baby into this world safe and healthy!
Dr. Hawkins is amazing. She takes her time to thoroughly explain any service or procedure that will be performed. She is compassionate and displays true care for her patients. 10/10 I recommend.
I absolutely love Dr. Ilabuchi and grateful for her care during my surgery and time in the hospital. She has the best personality and put you at ease talking about your health. She is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OBGYN DOCTOR EVER!
I have had the pleasure of dealing with more than one doctor for my pregnancy. I have dealt with Dr. Bimbola Arotiba, M.D, Dr Anna Carter, M.D, and Dr. Jasmine Hawkins, M.D. Each doctor obviously has their own personality but I was met with grace each time. They had the knowledge and the answers to all of my questions. If I started with one doctor I can guarantee the next one would be equipped with my last session when I dealt with another doctor.A synopsis of my pregnancy journey went like this. Dr. Hawkins greeted me in the hospital when it was time to have me induced. Dr. Carter delivered my daughter, and Dr. Bim checked me out of the hospital. This happened over the course of five days. Although my experience is one to talk about and a very emotional one at that they were all there to support me. Especially after I gave birth! Dr. Carter still remembered who I was when I called the establishment over the phone with questions.I know my experience may not be like everyone elses but if you were looking for an OBGYN home. I would definitely point you in this direction and if any of them happens to be reading this I just want to say a huge thank you! I appreciate everything that was done for me. Especially the two ladies at the front desk. They met me with smiles and respect each time. If I had a hard morning I definitely could not hold back a smile when I came out of the elevator and walked through those doors. In terms of the building/office space it is definitely a clean and calm space and the music is 10/10. Theyve updated the furniture since Ive been there so it has a more modern look. There isnt a horrible smell and its never jammed pack where you can never find a seat or have to sit next to someone. I like the fact that you enter through one part and then you exit through another. One thing I can say for me I did not have to do this often but when there was a line at checkout and I couldnt stand for long periods of time it would become painful. So, maybe having a chair there at checkout just incase (especially for pregnant mommies) could be beneficial. There was one nurse there that I am guessing she had a bad night I dont remember her name and I only encountered her once but other than that there are no major issues with the establishment and my experiences were great. I have been going here from April and trust me my pregnancy was not the very best. BUT nonetheless...I would definitely choose to go here again!- xoxo
I have been with the practice for almost 20 yrs . First with Dr Mary Campbell, then Dr Mojic and now Dr Iloabuchi. I only changed because one physician retired and the other took a hospital position. I am very happy I chose Dr Ujuka Iloabuchi because she is amazing. She takes time to listen and is very thorough. She is always pleasant and very humble, I highly recommend her. I hope she doesnt leave anytime soon. The staff is friendly and pleasant. Lately it seems the phone service has changed , because it took a long time for someone to answer the phone and it was not like that before. It took three attempts to get my wellness appointment scheduled. Maybe administration can look into correcting this issue.
I was treated like trash. I was a patient here for almost 25 years until today, originally with Dr. Campbell. She would be sad to know what this practice is today. I have had surgeries and procedures done by Dr. Johnson and Dr. Hamidi. Today, I arrived for my appointment only to find the office had moved with no notification at all. I called to let the new office know I was on my way, and was threatened with a 15-minute grace period by reception. When I arrived, I again was threatened by reception with the 15-minute grace period, which I was within. I completed all of my online check-in before arrival, and was told Dr. Carter would not see me, even though I arrived only a few minutes late, and without ever being told the office had moved. I had to argue to speak with an office manager, and then, she threatened to call security because I demanded to have my appointment. I did my best to be at the appointment after recovering from bronchitis, and no one was caring, sensitive, understanding, or supportive, nor informative. I experienced extreme unprofessionalism from this practice that I refuse to ever experience again. You have lost a patient. I will find someplace better.
Dr Iloabuchi heard and understood my reason to visit her and from the day 1 she had plans to reach our goals.I had a small surgery done by her in the process too and so far I am highly impressed and optimistic to get the positive results for myself.
I visited Dr. Iloabuchi for both a regular annual exam and concerns about fertility, particularly due to my age and previous medical history, including cancer. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Iloabuchi and the office as a whole left me deeply disappointed.During my visit, my concerns regarding fertility were quickly dismissed with a remark about the slim chances of pregnancy due to my age and medical history. While I understand the challenges that come with age, I felt that this response lacked empathy and failed to explore any potential options or referrals to specialists. In fact, it wasn’t until an ultrasound scheduled for an unrelated reason that I was informed of a condition (fibroids) that could further impact fertility. However, the lack of communication from the office was frustrating. I had to call multiple times to get my results, and when I finally received a response, it came from a medical assistant who bluntly informed me that I wouldn’t be able to have children due to my age. This information was not only emotionally devastating but also felt prematurely conclusive, without further investigation or discussion of alternative options. At no point did Dr. Iloabuchi address my concerns with the compassion and depth I would expect in such a delicate matter. There was no conversation about what options might be available, no acknowledgment of my emotions, and no referral to a fertility specialist for further evaluation. Instead, I was left to make repeated calls, with the staff writing down questions for the doctor, only to receive callbacks from the medical assistant, which I believe reflects poor professionalism and bedside manner. As a patient, I expect my doctor to not only provide medical information but also show care, compassion, and consideration for my personal concerns. Particularly when discussing sensitive topics such as fertility, it’s crucial for doctors to listen carefully, offer thoughtful insights, and ensure that patients are fully informed about their options. Dismissing concerns without proper evaluation or empathy undermines patient trust and can have a lasting emotional impact.I hope this review prompts the office to reconsider how they handle such delicate topics, improve their communication process, and prioritize providing patients with hope, education, and comprehensive care in a timely and compassionate manner.
I am recommending Dr. UJUKA ILOABUCHI she is one of the best. I have been using her for my yearly appointments. But this year she was my doctor during my prenatal. During labor she show her experience, which was fantastic. BEST DOCTOR OF THE YEAR 2024.
Dr. UJUKA ILOABUCHI is amazing , I get very honest vibes from her , gentle and patient . She delivered my 2nd child and delivered my third child in which she saved his life and bc of the power of THe Most High that spoke through her to help me make a decision that was best for me and baby I’m so glad I was able to trust her . Not only is she amazing but she’s very sweet and kind hearted . You can tell she’s serious about her career & all that she does . All the doctors are great but of course you have your favorites .
I have been going to this practice since 2000 and have always had a good experience with Dr. Hamidi. It wasn’t until 2023 that we had our first baby, and everyone was supportive and attentive of my advanced maternal age (lol). I enjoyed getting to meet the other doctors and staff throughout the process and felt comfortable with whoever would ultimately deliver our baby. As luck would have it we came full circle and Dr. Hamidi was on call that evening. She assisted through a stressful situation and I appreciate her calm and reassuring demeanor throughout.
So disappointed to see that the level of customer service and how serving people/patients has drastically gone down at Gwinnett OB/GYN. I have been a patient for almost 20 years and have noticed the increased decline. I called to re-schedule an appointment I had scheduled with Dr. Carter and ANDREA was RUDE to the 100th power. She does not need to be in any customer/patient serving capacity, she was very combative on the phone and very UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY DISRESPECTFUL. I am APPALLED. I have referred over 15 people to this practice over the past almost 20 years. She hung up the phone on me and I had to call back to speak with another woman to re-schedule my appointment. I have a message in to have the Office Manager Mrs. Brown give me a call back to discuss this. This amongst a few other experiences have me in search of a new practice. I truly like Dr. Carter but hate that I have to deal with the rude staff. A change needs to happen sooner than later!!!
The front office lady has a nasty attitude with insufficient customer service. I went to ask to transfer my prenatal care to a different Obgyn, and her cooperation is a 0. Also, the nurse was trying to go over my lab results in front of the two from office ladies which was about to violate HIPPA if it wasn’t for me to stop her and told her I am in the medical field and I do understand my lab results.
This group made a decision to cut me after the death of my baby the day after my 6 weeks postpartum appointment. Shame on all the working mothers that work with this team. See how mentally stable you will be a few weeks after loosing a baby. Shame on the physicians you all are heartless and cold. And speaking to the office manager who was not empathetic or showed any compassion. Just cold. I posted a picture of the nursery my baby never got to experience. 💔👼🏽
I have gone to the practice since 1999. They delivered my children and both deliveries were wonderful! Of course there have been a few annoyances over the years with long wait times, a few of the staff making things harder then they need to be or saying inappropriate things, but obviously nothing so bad that I would choose another place. The Drs are fantastic and staff is very friendly.
Dr.Jasmine Hawkins is incredible. She has a wealth of knowledge and explains things thoroughly while making you feel at ease. I highly recommend her.
I like this practice. They have delivered all three of my children. The only issue I have had is that they did not notify me of some additional blood tests that were ordered with my glucose test. I was made aware when I received a bill from Labcorp.
This place is so unreasonable. They made appointment for my wife months ago and told her she would get a reminder few days before. She never got the reminder and missed her appointment. When she realized and called them the next day they told her they were updating their systems and that’s why she never got the reminder. Now they sent a bill for $50 no show. I called them explaining the situation and they just simply replied by saying there is nothing they can do and we must pay the $50.
Dr. Hawkins has a wonderful bedside manner and is very patient centered. Thank you for always making my visits comfortable and informative.
I was recommended to this office back in November of 2022. I had some concerns and wasn’t able to see a doctor like I requested. Honestly, that was a disappointment as I felt like I wasn’t being heard. By January of 2023 I found out I had a very large cyst on my right ovary and needed surgery. The doctor I met with was Dr. Carter at that appointment. She gave me some opinions of what I can do to get the cyst removed. Fast forward to March of 2023 I ended up in the ER with ovarian cyst torsion. This is where I met Dr. Hawkins. She was able to perform laparoscopy on me like I was hoping for. The recovery was great and I had next to nothing pain except where the incisions were which is normal. By December of 2023 I went into surgery again with Dr. Hawkins for a D&C with hysteroscopy. Once again the recovery was smooth and no complaints. I’m saying all this to say that while my first few appointments may not had been great when I couldn’t get to a doctor, I am overall very happy with the care and service I had been receiving from the office. I now go to Dr. Hawkins for all of my concerns and I love that she really listen to me. Also she can read her patient well because she will slow down to explain something better if she notice you’re not following. I highly recommend this place and for you to find your doctor from here. Also Dr. Carter was fantastic too as she really took her time to explain to me what my options are for hormones treatment making me feel better about my decision. Another thing to note is they recently moved office and the new office setting is definitely better.
If you are looking for a new doctor go and see doctor Jazmine. She is super cool and down to earth. She takes time with you and looks you in the eye. I get a good feeling from here and I can tell that she cares about her patients. I love my new doctor.
I don’t do bad reviews but the customer service I just received was horrible. The front desk woman was so incredibly rude to me. They moved offices since my last visit and failed to mention that to me when I scheduled my annual. Waze my gps app still has their old address so that’s where I went. I even called to ask for directions and let them know I would be late. I arrived and signed my name in she said very loudly you’re late i said i know I’m sorry I went to the wrong location. She rolled her eyes and told me she’d see if they would see me. Then comes back out to get my card info and again extremely loudly says my insurance is inactive. This is not true. I just used my card at another doctors office this week. This office verified my insurance when I made the appointment. I asked if I should reschedule bc I felt so uncomfortable like I was this huge annoyance. She said they could bill the insurance. So I then waited and waited an entire hour. Everyone else in the waiting room got called back. I waited to say anything until there was no one else in the room. She yelled at me that I was late once again. I was 14 minutes late and called to let them know. I think it’s awful to speak to your clients so rudely I almost cried I felt so embarrassed. I have never felt so awful leaving a doctors office before. It’s a shame because I enjoyed my visit there last year, but this front desk woman just ruined it for me. Shame on you for treating people this way.
It has been extremely frustrating for me since April 2023 been a year I’m still chasing the billing department to refund my own money 450 $ which they took an extra by mistake and I paid with my credit card at once. After charging my insurance as well for my surgery in April 2023 with Dr Hamidi I had no issues with her but the billing has taken me for a ride since then. I have to chase them to return my money and every time I call them I only hear sorry it will reach u by 40 days we have escalated the matter and so on and now it is very soon going to be a year for me this April 2024. It is very sad they treat you so irresponsibly take so long to refund ur money which they took by mistake and when they have to charge u they don’t wait a min. Extremely unprofessional .im still waiting for someone to resolve this sooner. And get my money back as it is not a small amount to wait for a year.
A true Group of great doctors!! Dr.Hamidi is profound! I have utilized this group of doctors for 29 years and they have Delivered both of my children and three gran children 💙 with up most professionalism and compassion!regards:-)
I have been using Traci Johnson for years as my Ob/Gyn doctor. She is always super attentive and listens to her clients. I wouldnt go to anyone else.
40 minutes on the phone to cancel an appointment, rude people on the front and customer service. I been seeing these doctors for almost two years , and I totally regret about it, I’ve been dealing with a problem that they couldn’t understand and all what they used to do is send a nurse to ask me a few questions then the doctor comes to see you for one minute, just one minute without listening your problem, without focus on your questions and ready to describe you birth control pills. The list is long, I have many things to say about this place, I’m so disappointed of Dr. Hawkins, I’m not coming back. They deserve 0 ⭐️Don’t waste your time and money here.
I switched to this practice after a bad experience with several other practices. First meeting I met with Nurse Mercy. She helped to figure out what the source of my medical problem with my pregnancy was. She looked at the ultrasound and took the time to read it in a way no other practitioner had done before. This set my mind at rest and gave me great respect for her! They are so kind there. I am not a fan of all the doctors at the appointments. Sometimes they seem a little short. But I understand it can be less interesting and they have so many patients in a day. I’ve been told that while delivering the babies the doctors really step up. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an OBGYN. No place is perfect and I have found this place to be a good fit for what I need.
My experience was so traumatic at this place. I wish I have read the reviews. Please go some elsewhere if you dont want to be treated as a number. They asked me how I was and continue talking like it was a rhetorical question. My exam took like five minutes maybe more, Ive never felt so horrible and disgusted after a wellnes visit. The most shocking part, theyre women treating women, one would think they would care and have a little touch. Plus, its been two months and Im still waiting for my bill, as my insurance didnt cover one of the test, I need to schedule an appointment with another office and I cant because I have to pay this people $14 first. Its ridiculous!!!! Ive been calling their billing department for weeks and nothing, this place is just a nightmare.
The receptionist hung up on me twice after waiting 20 minutes on hold. I would recommend firing her immediately, she was very rude and disrespectful.
I’ve been coming here for over 10years I use to love this place but now the new receptionist is horrible. I’m on hold for over 10mins at a time they never pick up the phone within 2-5 minutes. When someone do finally pick up after an excruciating long wait their’s someone with an attitude or quick to tell you to please hold after you’ve already been on hold for over 10mins smh it’s ridiculous. From 2014-2020 was the best time to ever come here the receptionist were so friendly and comforting.
Im too blessed to be Dr Johnsons patient she went above and beyond during my delivery. She is very knowledgeable and loves what she does trust me. She is not just a Doctor but a Prayer Warriors too with positive energy all this keeps building confidence in her. Dr Johnson will take time to answer to me questions and explain every single thing with all details Youre Amazing Dr Johnson Thank you for checking on Ethan Nolan
Dr.Hawkins is so sweet and she listen. She was so concern about me having my daughter premature and preeclampsia.
This office has been nothing short of amazing to me! I’m not saying people are lying in their reviews but I have had a completely different experience! My doctor is Amazing and the staff are really nice! They’ve treated me respectfully and I knew they didn’t allow children in the office! I don’t know why people would bring their children to appointments anyway.
Be aware Pap smear self pay charges the office visit is $254 dollar if you are self pay then you get billed for the lab work $180 even if your PAP is normal. Other than them not letting you in when you call; the service is ok.
I like this office, they are very professional and good to their patients from the time I came into their building it is clean and warm, the staff are kind and providers thorough and kind. They answer all your questions, they have medication called in to the pharmacy on time. The care I received is one of the best I have received in a while. It felt to be in and out on time, with all my concerns addressed.
The phone services sucks! I called to reschedule my appointment and I was put on hold 30 min and then gave me the option to get a call back and the urgent care called me back! I told them this wasn’t urgent I just needed to reschedule my appointment they said to call the office back bc they are open. It’s disappointing and frustrating experience I’ve had with them.
This place wasn’t for me during my pregnancy. It also isn’t the cleanest or most welcoming. I saw many different doctors during routine checkups and none who even helped deliver. It was the best decision to leave and go elsewhere for my following pregnancy. They aren’t the worst but there are definitely better places out there.
Dr.Carter is by far the best doctor at this office. I have seen a few of the other physicians and I did not have a pleasant experience . Dr. Carter is the only one who truly listened to me and helped me come up with the best plan for my situation. She is attentive, patient and supportive. She is a doctor who truly cares about you and won’t just brush you off your concerns. The front office staff needs some training as they can be extremely rude. The call wait times are pretty long and the staff just isn’t friendly. The other reviews about both of these issues are 100% correct as I have been coming here for many years. All in all I’m very pleased with the treatment I received from Dr.Carter. She is truly the best!
Had blood drawn for testing a month ago, no billing to the insurance until now. Tried calling the billing department. No luck since 1 week. They will say “we are really busy, please tell us your issue and someone will get back to you asap”. Called again today after a week and same nonsense. “we are really busy, please tell us your issue and someone will get back to you asap”. Which billing department is busy for a week to return a call??????
Please do not let all these horrible comments from these hormonal pregnant women sway you from visiting this office. One of the reviewers said that she had no idea that her 9 year old could not go into the procedure room. When it clearly states on the answering machine on the hold music that it is a patient only examination room and no kids are allowed. So I guess hormones give you selective hearing as well. But it was clearly stated no children. Why in the world would you want your child to experience your pelvic exam and things like that anyway thats a little much for a child to have to see. Kudos for not allowing children to come into the examination room. The doctors in nurse practitioners arethe most respectful most kind caring medical staff that Ive ever come in contact with. You have to remember that hormones play a big part on how you feel about people hopefully the bad review people are feeling bad about what they said by now. It was a great experience from walking in the door to walking out. They were very helpful. reception was wonderful checking out was wonderful theyve already called me back to schedule my next procedure was very informative about all the things I needed to know very very nice. If I could give 10 Stars I would Dr Carter was a wonderful woman. I will have a relationship with this office for quite a while I was very happy with my experience. Jamie barrere here signing off happily thank you Gwinnett OBGYN keep up the good work I know you will.❤️
They would let me see a doctor because No children allowed! after I already got there. I have no one to leave my BREASTFED NEWBORN with and this child will not take a bottle. What a joke! Youd think a bunch of women working there would understand.
Traci Johnson , Best doctor I can ask for. She did my surgery and helped me bring my daughter into this world safely. She was patient and informative. Also, assured me that my baby girl will be here . I thank you and your team!
Rude and late.I brought my minor child to this office for an appointment. I brought my other 2 children with me. We walked into the office waiting room and was there for about 10 mins before one of my children needed to use the restroom. Only when I asked about the restroom did they tell me that children are not allowed in their waiting room. This is not stated on the door when you walk in nor is it stated anywhere in the office. Nor was it addressed until I asked a question. The front desk receptionist was very rude when giving me this information. When I asked where it was stated she said it’s just our policy. I asked again where the policy was stated. And she couldn’t tell me. Because it wasn’t.After searching all over I found a small sign on the back of the one door stating one 1 visitor 18 or older could accompany a patient. This still doesn’t address the waiting room but this was the closest they had to publicly stating this policy.I then had the manager come ask me to step into the hallway where she proceeded to try and berate me telling me that her staff asked me numerous times to leave with my children. That literally never happened. I had one conversation with the receptionist. The manager asked me questions but proceeded to talk over me and then threatened to call security on me despite my daughter being in their office and my children not making any ruckus but me simply saying that they don’t have that policy stated anywhere. It’s really a shame when someone with the title manager doesn’t have basic customer service skills and talks over someone especially after asking them a question. After driving 40 mins to an appointment to ensure my child gets her checkup waiting an hour past our appointment to receive this poor treatment is terrible and we will be finding a new office. What’s most disturbing is that black women get terrible treatment in medical offices and this was an example of such. So instead of acknowledging that their policy is not publicly stated and explaining the policy to me, answering my questions and providing me with some options I was fussed at by both the front desk and the manager. Makes me wonder how the rest of the staff treats their patients.
This place is disgusting. How can you be a business catered to WOMEN and treat them with nothing but disrespect and attitude about what they are going through. I went here for the first time for extreme pain and cramping and heavy bleeding that would not stop and the old black lady tried forcing me to take birth control and said that it was my “only option” instead of trying to figure out the real problem so I switched doctors. They tell me that they will call me in a few days to update on my results or next appointments and then they forget to call so I have to call them and ask over and over for answers. I ended up having to have a procedure done to remove tissue from the cervix for testing and the entire time I was in excruciating pain while they were doing it they were laughing at my body and probably me crying in pain as well. They told me it would take a week or 2 for the results back but they never called me again and it’s been months. This place is terrible save your time it’s not worth it. Nothing but disgusting hateful insecure women that hate their jobs. They make you feel judged as soon as you walk in the room.
I was extremely disappointed with Gwinnett OBGYNs front staff members unprofessionalism. I received a call from them the morning of my appointment giving me the option to reschedule with Dr. Hawkins or switch doctors because Dr. Hawkins called off work. I chose to reschedule for 9 am the next day. Of course, 9 am was the appointment time offered to me by their staff. I did not pick a time out of a hat. Nonetheless, when I arrived on time, the rude lady said I was late, and my appointment was for 8:30 am and Dr. Hawkins personally said I would have to reschedule. Mind you, Im a new patient and I already had to be inconvenienced by the rescheduling of my initial appointment due to Dr. Hawkinss issue. The entire unprofessional experience put a bad taste in my mouth and caused me to take my business elsewhere. Also, I find it very disheartening that when I attempt to patronize my people (African Americans) they disappoint the majoity of the time. And again this was a disappointment.time out of a hat.
Dr. Hamadi is very detailed and kind. Not much waiting and she answers all my concerns and questions.
Dr. Johnson has been my Gynecologist for many years. She is very caring, listens and has helped me through menopause and beyond. I highly recommend her and appreciate the care I have been given at Gwinnett Ob/Gyn Associates.
I loved the ladies here! They took such good care of me and made sure I had all the information I needed to make sure my baby and I were healthy!
I never got a chance to check in with them the people are very short with you and have very little compassion and care for clients it very hard to find and they don’t want to give you any instructions on how to get to where they are this is my first child and I had the worst month experience trying to get a appointment with these people don’t not recommend
Dr hamadi is wonderful OB/ Gyn and she cares about her patients & very personable and I would definitely tell family and friends about Gwinnett Associates.
Dr. Hawkins is a phenomenal doctor, she takes the time and she cares about her patients.
I came to this practice for my last pregnancy and have been using this office as my regular gynecologist. The doctors are good, but the receptionist have such a bad attitude. Jazmine is one of the main ones that has such a stale monotone voice that gives the impression that she doesn’t care about her job and hates it. I’ve called to schedule appointments and she ALWAYS put me on hold again after waiting for 10+ min after waiting. Not to mention when I come in to the office for an appointment I have to wait almost 20-30 min after my appointment. This office needs to be more organized and not have such stale staff. Do better
I have been a patient for over 5 years, staff is very friendly and efficient. During pregnancy my OB was very much on top of everything. Test, exams sending to specialists when needed.
I hate coming here it’s always something it’s almost like they look for a reason to not see you. I was told to bring my new insurance card yet they canceled my appointment because they didn’t have my new insurance card. Which I was informed of by front desk when I arrived for my appointment. I’m already over due for my annual I will not return I won’t have one if they have to preform it. This is the second time have inconvenienced me with no regard to my life health or well being. There front desk receptionists is so unprofessional and uncaring just send me my medical files so I’ll never come here again. Please go somewhere else
I have been seeing Dr. Iloabuchi for almost 14 years now. I highly recommend her due to her bedside manner, her attitude , her patience and understanding . she is a wonderful doctor and very efficient . This office is amazing and everyone helps each other when needed . Very comfortable and inviting office .
Went for an appointment and brought my 9 year old daughter. No one said that I wasn’t allowed to bring my kid. So if you have children and you are a single parent please don’t go to this place unless you have a support system. It seems they are catering to only those who have no children or a husband at home to care for them. I did not come with 5 kids. I came with one very obedient 9 year old child. At least let your patients know instead of wasting people’s time. I will be looking for another office to attend because the deliverance was a I don’t care attitude. I work in the healthcare field as a medical professional at a prestige hospital and never treated anyone that way.
Dr Hawkins is the best and other several doctors they listen to you and very understanding!
I’ve seen a lot of people reviews about this place front desk staff/ nurses that being rude to them, I mean I didn’t believe it till I got my experience with them as well, if so many people complained about it then you should know that you have a problem and you need to fix it, don’t let it drag other people down like a good doctors that working there and reputation. If you care to act now then it’s mean you really care about your business and patients but if you careless then I guess that’s how your business goes.
I was very excited to attend this clinic, i have my first pregnancy and I have no idea what to expect at each visit, no one explains anything to me they just do blood tests all the time, my husband is only admitted for ultrasound and after that he has to go out. I had an appointment scheduled at my 12 weeks for an ultrasound and the NT my husband missed work to attend the ultrasound with me, after waiting 25 minutes to be seen the nurse said that I did not have an ultrasound scheduled and the blood test was different from what was mentioned before, dont go there.Update a month later:the worst clinic, if I had proof I would sue them
Gwinnett OBGYN AssociatesThe staffs were very nice to us when we first meet them however, their behavior changed periodically my wife and I were not satisfied how they do things they basically recommended/advise that my wife should be induced, entering the 40 weeks Period. They tried to force my wife to get induction done, but my wife didn’t think it was necessary. I didn’t think it was necessary she was in good health and the baby more importantly was in good health so we didn’t go for a follow up because they made us scare. We didn’t know what they would do, so we waited until it was the time. By gods grace my wife and the baby were healthy. When she contracted, I called Gwinnett OBGYN,associate hotline to notify them that we would be going to the hospital. And OB Dr. did not show up to delivery my wife But God provided the hospital doctor that was great at Eastside Hospital , which we are very satisfied with with their staffs. The OB /Doctor UJUKA ILOABUCHI came to discharge my wife, and instead of being happy for us she was dwelling on the past she started to complain, and why we didn’t show up and made excuses to continue her arguments. We were not pleased with her after that my wife was denied for postpartum appointment I am wife’s Advocate because my wife does not speak English fluently and she made me an authorized person and they knew that and they made excuses that someone called in and reschedule her appointment which was completely a lie. They are con Artists because postpartum is included with the payments we already made, through our insurance. They just wanted to have a reason not to see her, after that, I my wife and I went to the clinic and asked them can she be seen. And they claim they sent us a letter which was never mailed out. we never received a letter about my wife being in active in their system these horrible people. I would never recommend anyone to deal with these people. I asked the staff the front desk staff why she can’t be seen and how can we make it right and they said they all in it together the staff decided to cancel my wives file after this. They sent us a letter on their decision to remove my wife from their clinic and it says 30 days that she can be seen if it is emergency. when I called them that we had emergency, my wife wasn’t feeling well they said that she would have to go to the emergency room. They have to investigate that that is giving birth related issue. Then she could be seen until we find another OBGYN hospital that will take her so you know they made it difficult so I asked them to transfer my wife’s documents to other other OBGYN clinics. however we were not successful because majority clinics do not take patients who has not seen been seen for postpartum appointment. so these people cost us nothing but stress. People please stay away from this Gwinnett OBGYN associates, they are horrible people however nice facility but unprofessional staff. God have mercy on them.
Dr.Hawkins is amazing and she did everything in her power to take care of my needs
I have been a patient of Gwinnett OB-GYN for about 40 years! My current doctor is Traci Johnson and she is the best! She takes time to listen to and address any concerns I have.
I have delivered 2 baby girls with Gwinnett OBGYN. The first in early 2020 (Dr. Carter) and the second in mid 2023 (Dr. Iloabuchi). I have nothing but good things to say.I came to the practice with trauma and it was always taken into consideration and my wishes respected.
I love my Ms. Bono, but cant help but say something about the front desk. The receptionists are so rude and unwelcoming. You can also hear them talking bad about patients behind the desk. Ive been coming here for years and its always been that way. The lady at the checkout is always so sweet and helpful though.
I visited the office due to a significant issue of bleeding for two months. I had an appointment with Dr. Hamidi in mind, but instead, an OB/GYN nurse attended to me. Unfortunately, my problem was not resolved. The customer manager I encountered had the worst attitude I have ever seen, and the issue remained unresolved. Its hard to believe that I came all the way from Atlanta, driving for over an hour, to visit Dr. Hamidis office
I have been using Gwinnett OBGYN since I was about 14, and I am 33 now. I cannot say enough about this practice. They are helpful, attentive, and Dr. Carter is top tier. Dr. Iloabuchi delivered my son & it was a little underwhelming so I don’t know that I’d continue with this practice should I get pregnant again. I was hoping for a cheer squad and the room was very quiet & boring, if you will, when I was delivering my son. “Push…push….” was not very exciting as I was beginning this brand new chapter in my life. Other than that, everyone here is awesome. Dr. Mojick retired, but he was the best of the best! I highly recommend Gwinnett OB!
The office is nice. The doctors are great but im giving one star because if you come here, plan to do it alone. They do not allow anybody back with you for any visits or ultrasounds except the 6 week and 20 week. Which is insane. I am not single, my partner is just as much a parent as me, but they exclude her from everything. They say because of COVID but that excuse is played out. If you want a family experience with your partner, do not come here. Other women I have talked to are also switching because of this. Just a heads up!
Dr. Hawkins is a wonderful doctor and person. She and her staff took great care of me and my baby girl keeping me, my husband, and my mother informed and calm while laboring. She is great at explaining things so that you can understand and answers any questions you have throughly and with a smile. I will be coming back to see her with my next child.
I have been a patient here since the beginning of my pregnancy and Im about 7 months along now. I always have a positive experience during my visits and everyone here is so nice and professional. You get multiple opportunities during each visit to ask questions/address concerns which is really helpful.
I’m glad I chose this practice to care for me throughout my pregnancy. All of the doctors I have seen here so far are very informative and have answered all my questions without making me feel like I’m bothering them. The ultrasound techs are the best. They’re so sweet and welcoming. I never wait more than about 15 minutes past my appointment time and I’m usually in and out within an hour. Sometimes more if I’m getting an ultrasound. Overall I would recommend Gwinnett Ob/Gyn.
Every member of their team is kind and helpful. They all make a comfortable and safe environment for their patients. Some of the nurses could try to be a little warmer, but the majority of their staff is respectful. I will say the nurse that takes blood cultures is AMAZING. I went to the hospital and had bruises all over my arms from needles and ivs, they all hurt immensely, and it seems effortless for her to take blood with zero pain to her patients. The doctors and nurses followed up with me as soon as i got out of the hospital to discuss plans to regulate my mineral deficiencies. I plan to have every pregnancy through their services.
I had a 10am appointment and I was told at my arrival that I would be seen after a 15 min wait time to fill out my information. I waited over 45 min before going to the front desk to inquire as to why I had been waiting an entire appointment length to see a provider. After my complaint I was taken to the back to reschedule my appointment that was difficult for me to even attend due to having an autistic child and two other babies I take care of on my own full time. This appointment was extremely urgent to my health and I was treated like a joke. Take yourself to a better providers. Youll thank yourself in the end.
The worst place, stuffs are extremely rude and dont know how to talk nicely. Always overcharge before insurance claim processing. My wife visited and made her overpaid. When the insurance processed the claim, they come up with an innovative idea: oh, you missed appointment! so charged $75 for that. But in reality, my wife called and cancelled appointment. They dont have any online portal, so the stupid clinic probably couldnt keep track appointment cancellation. Still work with pen and paper like stone age. Dont go there.
Do not even open this door.Do you know that you cannot make appointments here in person?Do you know that you cannot talk to office manager?Do you know that useless and rude receptionists who do not want to raise a finger to help you is normal here?Do you know that sending woman home crying is normal here. Then I am telling you - it is.Add crowded reception area with filthy furniture and lacking A/C. Youll get the part of the picture.Do not even open the door to this.6/15 update: I did send an email to the office manager, I did leave a voicemail with my problems and concerns about their way of treating the most fragile kind of the patients at the time of the visit. No replies. They do not give a s4it.Do not even open the door to this....
Dr. Hawkins was amazing during labor and delivery. Her joking made put me at ease and made me feel like everything was going to be ok because I was really nervous. She addressed all of my concerns and the nurses were amazing as well.I don’t like that they rotate providers during your check up appointments BUT once I found my person she was absolutely amazing! I’m talking about you Dr. ILOABUCHI!! She answered ALL of my questions and made me feel comfortable when I was uncomfortable. The admin staff was amazing! The front desk lady and the checkout lady were very courteous and professional! Brittany in insurance/billing was AMAZING!! She was sure to answer all my questions and when I had issues with the insurance/billing with the hospital and VA she made it feel stress free.Overall my experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend!
I have had a wonderful experience at Gwinnett OBGYN. The front staff are always kind and helpful. The medical assistants and nurses are always on top of everything and get you in and out. I see Dr. Carter and I absolutely love her and I always leave knowing and understanding everything about my appointment and never feel like I don’t know what’s going on with my body. I have seen another Doctor as well, and my experience was the same. Sometimes it is hard to get them on the phone, but they are always quick to return your calls and answer your questions. I have been seeing them for 6+ months and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommended to anyone looking for a new doctor!
I had such an amazing experience with them. At the time I was 18 and it was my first time going to an on/gyn they were super kind and friendly definitely recommend going to them for anyone who hasn’t had a good experience anywhere else.
I delivered my second baby with Gwinett OBGYN in 2021. I had issues, hour wait times, not a fan of VABs and pushed a repeat c section. I worked through afriad to change mid-pregnancy.Fast forward today, I came in for confirmation of a 3rd pregnancy, I was greeted by the nurse practioner with her saying your back again, already. Not congratulations, not hello how are you..... how rude. The front desk staff is cold and rude. Getting an appointment in a timely manner is a joke. The woman who draws blood is always sad and in a bad mood, I will say she is excellent at her job! They refused to do an ultrasound today while I was already there, the soonest appointment they could get me in for was a MONTH away, then I had to make an other appointment on a separate day to see a doctor. They also still have a visitor policy that does not allow my husband to be apart of visits. The office bathroom are dirty, today it smelled of urine and there was pee on the floors, the trash was over flowing, the sink had old tissue in it.Even though this is my 3 baby I still want to be treated well and made to feel safe, special, and cared for by the people I trust with my life and my childs life.
Its so unfortunate that I have to write this as I have been at Gwinnett Ob/Gyn for more than 20 years. However, given the significant decline in customer care, I am actively seeking a new doctor/group of doctors. Although I have a couple of situations that I could share, for the sake of time, Ill briefly detail my latest one. Unfortunately, I have medical issues that will likely require surgery. After getting biopsied last Monday, I was told that my results would be available either Friday or this Monday morning at the very latest. I called on Monday at 8:30 a.m., which is when the office opened. When I chose the medical results option, I was taken to a voicemail that asked me to leave detailed information (name, DOB, phone number) so that a nurse could call me back as soon as possible. Well, nobody called even though I left a voicemail at 8:30 a.m. and another one at 2:45 p.m. The next day (Tuesday), I called again but chose the option for making an appointment instead of the one for getting test results. Funny, an actual human picked up the phone. I spoke with a lady named Hannah and explained my situation. She asked for my information, got my chart, and told me my results. Based on the fact that she was working in the appointments department (not the medical results department), I wondered about office protocol. In any event, I asked her why I hadnt received a call back. She answered my question by reading my results to me a second time. By the third time she did this, I decided I needed to speak to someone else. I asked her for the name of the manager, and she casually said that she would have Alnisa, the office manager, call me back. Im still waiting on that call back.I understand that people who work in a particular field (e.g., medical field) can become desensitized to its content (e.g., medical information). However, Im not in the medical profession, and this is my one and only body. As such, when things go wrong with it, its extremely frightening. The care and timeliness with which information from Gwinnett ObGyn was delivered used to be excellent. Now its egregious. If anyone knows of a good place in Gwinnett or fairly close to Gwinnett, please share.
First, I want to start by saying the Drs are amazing. Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Carter are wonderful and treated me with the best of care. However, the nursing staff are completely unprofessional and rude. One of the nurses at the front desk told me I missed my appointment and they wouldn’t see me to complete my ultrasound. I had COVID and called days in advance letting them know and that I wanted to reschedule. The nurse that called me back rescheduled my appointment for 10 days later and I confirmed that an ultrasound would be apart of my appointment and she said yes. I get to my appointment and the front desk nurse rudely told me “you’re not on the list I don’t know what you want me to do. Do you want me to schedule your next follow up?” I told her no because that was my last appointment at this office because I had just moved. Her response, “well, there’s nothing more for me to do for you.” I paid out of pocket for an ultrasound that wasn’t even completed. The front desk nurse is more concerned on why her boyfriend hasn’t proposed than the treatment of patients.
Ive been a patient of this practice for over 20 years. All the doctors, nurse practitioner and nurses have always been attentive, knowledgeable and caring. Traci Johnson, MD has been my current GYN for many years and remembers me even though I only see her yearly. I always feel cared for and important. Thank you all for taking such good care of all of us ladies in Gwinnett County!!
I have had the BEST experience here. From the moment I walk in, to leaving and having blood work done. The women at the front desk are always so kind, the woman at the checkout area is sweet, I see Dr. Iloabuchi and she is the best obgyn I’ve ever had! She is genuinely so kind and informative. Her assistant is great as well! The ultrasound techs are both so sweet. I’m always scared to have blood work done but everyone that has taken my blood has gotten it in one go and they’re also so nice. They definitely know what they’re doing. Over all- everyone i have come in contact with has made my “difficult” medical experiences so much better and always made me comfortable. I am so grateful for them.
I love my doctor there because shes generally a caring physician. However, the people working the front desk need customer service training. Yes, I was late for an appointment because of issues with the pharmacy. I pre-registered when I scheduled the appointment. I get there and have to register again. I completed that and then after sitting for an additional 20 minutes, Im told that its not done again--- just cancel the appointment then. I know you like to punish people when theyre late, but this was ridiculous.
I just recently had a baby and when I say these are the best Ob’s I’ve encountered. I honestly been going here since 2019 and look I finally gave them a baby. They take great care of their patients
I chose Dr Hawkins to delivery my baby via c section. From the moment I met Her I knew She would be delivering my last baby. She is so understanding, patient, and takes time to explain every single thing and doesn’t make you feel like just another patient. I absolutely love her and very happy to have had her as my doctor during my last pregnancy.
I will say first that Im very happy with Dr. Iloabuchi and with the treatment I receive. I needed a place where I felt listened to and not rushed past. I have found that. Also, the ultrasound staff is wonderful, kind, and compassionate. My only and largest complaint is communication. Its very hard to get in contact with an actual person when calling in, even during office hours. This is likely due to the size of the practice, but Its very frustrating to play phone tag due to always encountering an electronic answering service. If the practice could address this issue, it would be a 5 star rating.
I went to see Dr. Johnson after my last Dr. office didnt accept my new health insurance. If I had believed these reviews, I would not have gone to this office. However, I decided to give them a try. I had a pleasant experience from making the appointment over the phone, to the receptionist, nurse, doctor and even the person taking my co-pay at the end. Everyone is very respectful and courteous to you. They treat their patients like they matter and listen to you and your concerns. I had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and definitely recommend her and the practice.
Dr. Carter is AMAZING! I was referred by another patient and it was the best thing to have happened. Dr. Carter was the first physician I saw, and I knew then I had chosen the right place. I had a high risk pregnancy that was monitored carefully and my beautiful baby girl is a healthy plump 4 months. :) Dr. Traci Johnson gets the upmost respect from me! She truly truly cares as well, and thanks to her compassion we are both alive and well. Dr. Traci Johnson literally saved my babies LIFE! I recommend everyone I know there. Thank you Dr. Johnson!! & thank you Dr. Carter. Forever indebted to you both :’)
Went in with pain and spotting and concerns of the baby not being in the correct place. Was shocked when they only did blood work. Again voiced concerns of possible miscarriage or eptopic, but was assured thats why they did blood work and was told to go to the hospital if it got worse... 2 days later I went to the hospital even more pain and bleeding... I miscarried. I wish that they had at minimum did an ultrasound knowing Im older and was having pain and spotting. I spoke with another obgyn who assured me they should of did an ultrasound. Im very saddened not just for the loss, but I wish I would have been looked at more seriously. I will not be going back.
I went to Dr Hawkins with my elderly and hard of hearing mom for a discharge problem she was having. Dr. Hawkins located the problem right away and spoke clearly and loudly enough for my mom to understand. I had taken my mom to other doctors, but they saw the issue, then asked me her history (which I didn’t know), but they failed to follow though. I highly recommend Dr Hawkins both for her professional knowledge and bed side manner.
Dr Hawkins is very competent, explanatory, and make sure you feel comfortable
I had a 8:30 am appointment and was on time for check in, yet I was still taken to the room a whole hour later. No apology for the delay of any kind was given. I was not seen by the NP until 10:20 am. This was my first prenatal visit and the NP rushed her time with me. Asked me what questions I had while she was halfway out of the room. I asked one question and was told to review the booklet I was provided. I was not given any type of information or education when it came to being in my first trimester. I would not recommend for first time mamas.EDIT: 05/2023I switched OBGYN immediately after this encounter. Unfortunately, I had one appointment that I still needed to go to prior to my paperwork for transfer being complete. This was going to be my 12 week appointment. My other OBGYN informed me that during my 12 week appointment they would be doing an ultrasound to check for Down syndrome called the NT scan. This is a time sensitive scan/test. When I arrived at my appointment, I asked them if I was scheduled for an ultrasound because I should be doing an NT scan for my 12 weeks appt and they said I was not. I informed my NP that my other OB mentioned this and she responded with Oh, I thought they did that on last appt. (I was 8 weeks, no way it was possible for them to do this scan then). Then they said they did not have nay openings for an ultrasound and was trying to squeeze me in. I waited for 1.5 hours in the room and still nothing so I just left. The issue I have with this is, they should be more thorough with the care they give these mamas. How does one practice show importance to certain scans and test and this doesnt. I would have never known that test existed had it not been mentioned by my other OB.The question I asked my NP my first visit was that I was having extreme nausea and vommiting and she responded with reading the booklet for meds. Fast forward to today, I have HG and had I stayed at this practice, I know that my symptoms would have been overlooked by these providers and I would not have received close to the care I am currently getting at my OB. At the end of the day, Its your money and time spent, so make sure you find one that takes care of you well, thats the least you can ask for during your pregnancy, Goodluck Mamas.
I am furious! My daughter went in today for her very first female exam and Mercy was horrible to her. She was rude and judgmental and had no regard for my daughter feelings or well being. She has been having issues and none of it was addressed. She simply wanted to add services that would have cost an obscene amount of money. While I understand the medical community is over worked this visit was just short of a travesty. I do not understand why she could not have been shown simple kindness as opposed to the glares and noises as if my daughter was an inconvenience. How dare any one let alone a supposed medical professional be so hateful. I can only hope this review will be seen by others so their loved ones are not subjected to the same horrific behavior.
Dr.Bim delivered my daughter on Thanksgiving Day. It was a quick delivery. She was patient and kind to me. I felt like she gave me firm and clear guidance/instructions on how to push the baby out without tearing. My experience with all of the providers at the clinic was great throughout the duration of my pregnancy. This was my second pregnancy that I went to the clinic for. Great experience both times!
I had a wonderful experience at this office. I’ve been seeing this office for several years as a gynecologist so when I found out I was pregnant, I was so excited to go see them as an OBGYN. They were so open to doing things naturally and were very clear about educating me about options and resources. When it was time to have my daughter, the doctor was there for the entire 24 hours I was in labor and was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I felt COMPLETELY at ease and trusting from day one. I will definitely come back when I have my second!
Dr. Jasmine Hawkins is 1000/10. Very informative, caring, and thorough. Super thankful for her and her knowledge getting me through my first pregnancy!
I was concerned about losing weight in my third trimester (as anyone would be), but my appointment at their clinic put me at ease. My ob was knowledgeable but kind, and professional but empathetic. 5 stars!
Great team of doctors they feel like friends and family. I really enjoy this location if you’re looking for a OB/GYN definitely pick them.
Great office but if you call for the on call doctor, their new directory takes over an hour to answer. Then when they do call back they have no idea what OBGYN you’re with and struggle to find your file. I had to give 3 different OB names for them to finally find me in their system just for them to even be able to call the on call doctor. Their previous system was no where near as long of a wait and I didn’t have to give them a giant amount of information for them to locate the office. It’s a bit stressful going through that when you think they’re is something going on while you’re pregnant.
It’s taken me nearly 3 years to write this review, but I’m finally doing it. I would not recommend this OB practice to anyone, under any circumstance. They were my ob for my twin pregnancy in 2019. I had complications during my pregnancy, I knew something was wrong and I tried to relay these concerns with Dr Hamidi on many occasions. Towards the end I sat in her office crying and begging her to do something, anything to help me and my babies. She refused, she is the most heartless and the least caring Doctor I have ever come into contact with. Not to mention just down right rude. Because she ignored my concerns and chose to do nothing, my baby was still born at 34 weeks. I was in the hospital, under her care, when my baby died while she was still actively choosing to do NOTHING.
I love love LOVE this practice. In the 6 years that I have been a patient at this office, I have seen all of the Providers and have not had a single complaint. All of the staff is professional and personable. Each person that I interact with during my visits takes time to talk with me, connect with me and make sure they have taken the time to explain every single step of everything. I have experienced great joys and huge upsets related to pregnancy and health, and everyone in the office made sure that I knew they were in my corner, be it good or bad news. I would highly recommend this office to everyone I know. This is the first female doc office I have ever been to that makes an effort to make your visits comfortable and less nerve racking as a woman. Lets face it, I dont know a single person that looks forward to lady checks. Somehow this practice makes it less of a chore. :)
My first visit today with this practice and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had to date! The staff was awesome from the time I stepped through the doors until I finished. Dr. Manga was very thorough and took the time to explain what I needed to know. I have found my life partners for gynecological care!
I love Dr. Johnson and all the staff I have interacted with. Dr. Johnson makes sure to listen to my questions and always gives me a straightforward answer to help me make the best decision for my health. I have always had a very quick visit but never felt rushed out or not listened to.
My provider’s clinic in Duluth doesnt have a 3d ultrasound at their location so I asked around for recommendations. Gwinnett’s ultrasound technician was efficient and knowledgeable, making for a quick and convenient experience. Their clinic was clean and welcoming, and I felt at ease throughout the appointment. Im switching providers :)
Dr. Hawkins is SIMPLY AMAZING! She is a great doctor. She is respectful, listens to you thoroughly and knowledgeable. After having 3 kids wish I would have had her for my first 2 children.
Im new to the state and was referred here by my primary care physician. I had an appointment today due to a concern I had however I didn’t receive the proper care that I felt should have taken place. I feel like the doctor should have taken more action to get down to the bottom of my concerns. Instead of telling me what she ‘thought’ was wrong. Doctors here in Ga are hit or miss.they don’t really care.
Dr. Johnson is personable, thorough, asks questions, and listens to me each time I see her. I feel lucky to have her as my OBGYN.
Dr. Hawkins delivered my baby and she was also my physician throughout my pregnancy. She gave me the best experience as a first time mom. However when I first came into the hospital for L & D the doctor was Dr. Hamidi and she was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! My baby had 2 major heart decelerations and it was only when I was on my right side. And we couldn’t understand why it was happening so I asked an ultrasound and Dr. Hamidi said no because it wasn’t needed and I told her it could be anything the umbilical cord could be wrapped around my baby neck and she said no again but I do think that you need to have a c- section. I was totally against it because I knew I wanted a vaginal birth. She did say that they could induce my labor but it’s not recommended because if that didn’t work they would have to do an emergency c-section. After I talked with my family and we decided to try and induce my labor and that didn’t work because my baby had another deceleration so they took it out I also hadn’t dilated past 1cm. They also didn’t make sure my water was broke after I told them I had leaking fluid. So throughout the whole night I was in pain from laying on my left side because I wanted to wait for Dr. Hawkins to deliver my baby. The next morning my water broke and Dr. Hawkins came in shortly after and talked to my family and I. We came up with a plan and told us that the c-section would be the last resort. Throughout the day my cervix had opened more and more. I just knew once I got to 6cm I would have a natural birth as planned and I did. When my baby came out the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck twice. Dr. Hawkins was AMAZING and very ENCOURAGING I would love for her to deliver my next baby. And the nurses were also great… I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Hamidi to anyone.
This office staff is so inconsiderate. I had an appointment at 10:15 and was brought back to a room at 11:30. It’s 11:55 and Dr. Hawkins nor any nurse has been back. We’re asked as patients to be here on time or we get billed for a missed/late appointment. As if we don’t have our own schedule after the doctors office. Inconsiderate staff, I’ll never make an appointment with Dr. Hawkins!
11/28/2022I am 7+ month pregnant and I had my appointment at 2 I came at 1.59pm and they made me wait outside in waiting area for more than 45 mins……still waiting while writing this review.I have already done my check in online …. More than 5 patients who came after me have already gone inside for their turn…. When I ask the front desk she said ur doctor running late….. now I have to wait more in the room after they call me don’t know what the hell they doing……
I’m so thankful to have delivered my second born with this practice! Dr. ILOABUCHI did my c section and she did a phenomenal job! She was very kind and took her time to answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend her for delivery! Beside manners were great! Dr. Carter is awesome as well very nice and great at making you feel comfortable.
I had the absolute worst experience here. They send a confirmation text with the wrong address to their location to start off with. Then they tell me that they have to ask the doctor if they will still see me because of their own fault of giving out the wrong address to patients, the rep then told me I was able to come. I then get there late because I was told to go to the wrong location and the rep said we have a 15 minute grace period im going to have to check with the doctor to see if we can still see you. I said I already spoke with someone and she told me to come. The rep then went on the line to her for worker and made it seem as I was lying and then walks to the back telling me she has to speak with the doctor. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend. If they don’t have your best at interest or know how to run a practice how do you expect them to be able to take care of your health. Do not go here !!!!!!!
I find it crazy how many of the woman who come here come out unhappy and w complaints and the office continues to do whatever they want, my VERY first visit at an obgyn and i got dr. manga. she automatically judged me bc i had relations before marriage, isnt that against their medical degree? to judge patients and their personal actions? theyre only there to provide medical assistance not their judgements , if i needed a therapist i wouldve paid for one. by far, i continue to come to this office and the ONLY person who has EXTREMELY helped answering my question with absolutely NO judgement is Dr. Carter, i could continue writing my horrific experiences w the front desk people but id just be taking over this entire review section
I’ve been with this practice for 7 years and it has definitely gone down hill. Called into office ( not the first time) for a personal reason to be told that my dr. Or her nurse will return my call. It’s been over a month a month and I am still waiting on that call. Time for to find a new dr.
This is a lovely office space. And the phone or scheduling Operator for the business Nae is great! Super helpful and a great asset. And the doctors are amazing Dr. Johnson is a peach. She literally made us feel so welcomed. they have amazing doctors but their front end staff is completely horrible, rude and short. There is a large Hispanic lady who does Intake who is extremely rude. For someone who can’t walk around the office. You would think she would have more compassion for sick patients. There is also an African American lady with blonde braids who was just as rude. And verbatim stated she doesn’t care. The doctor can figure that out. Idk what is happening in the medical industry but if this is what people spend thousands of dollars on for healthcare. We are doomed.
First off, I will tell you that the staff here a very professional. I used this practice for my second pregnancy, and every doctor or np I have met have been knowledgeable and kind. My frustration with this practice has been with their customer service/business policies.1.) Unless you specifically request certain person for each visit, they will set your appointments up with any one of their team that is available. This to me is highly impersonal and a little discouraging because I never felt like anything more than just another pregnancy for them.2.) After the birth of my son, I was strictly breastfeeding, and he would not take a bottle. I was not allowed to bring him with me on the 6 week postpartum office visit. (Due to their COVID policies) If we had been able, someone could’ve sat with him outside in the lobby, but I couldn’t get childcare for both of my children at the same time this way, so I had to dash home (35 minutes away) as quickly as I could to a very unhappy and (by this time) hungry infant.3.) I requested at the beginning of my visits not to be billed globally, because I knew after the birth there would be a swarm of other bills as well that we would have to take care of, everybody “due upon receipt” and would not be able to pay it all or set up a payment plan due to our finances. I was billed globally anyway. They deserve to be paid and I absolutely will pay them for their services- however, it’s going to have to be slower than they’d like. If they had billed me per visit, they would have already had all of their money.I will, however, commend them on their customer service. I am not the most tactful when I am frustrated- as I was the past couple interactions I had with them because of points 2 and 3. They remained very friendly and professional.
I’ve been coming to this office for a very long time now. It’s always been pleasant. The staff are amazing and I love Nurse Bono. She’s my absolute favorite ❤️
I was experiencing abnormal bleeding and was very nervous about my gyno visit. I wasn’t satisfied with my usual gynecologist in Redan and decided to get a 2nd opinion. Gwinnett’s doctors were kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I got a diagnosis and have been receiving treatment for 2 weeks now! Thank you
Today was my 1st visit to this office. Check in and nurse that took vitals were amazing and friendly. My issue came to the doctor. She didn’t even read my paper work, didn’t tell me what she was doing before she did anything, was so unfriendly and unwelcoming. She didn’t bother to listen to my concerns or anything. She literally came in did her examination and left. We’ll try a different doctor in the facility before looking for a new one all together
This practice is amazing from staff to physicians. Ive been there for over 5 years, and theyve had change in physicians, but always for better. I had two babies with this practice and each time I was treated with up most respect and professionalism and most importantly with care. Dr. Johnson delivered my daughter, and Dr. Mojckic delivered my son. Dr. Bim and Illaubuchi are new on staff but they adapted as if they have been treating me for the last five years. I honestly feel like I am part of their family. No matter what is going on, they all have genuine and compassionate bedside manners with patients. Other than my babies, this practice has treated me for other concerns, and they havent yet disappointed me. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for caring doctors and staff. The staff is above and beyond amazing. From the wonderful ladies up front, to the billing department to the ultrasound techs and the lab tech. Everyone is phenomenal.
THE WORST OB I’VE EVER BEEN TO. I have two children and that’s my comparison to this debacle. My wife had early pregnancy issues and these people acted like they didn’t care at all. They gave her NOTHING to prevent the miscarriage and said nothing existed, when all you have to do is Google to find out there is. We had a follow up appointment the day after the miscarriage and these people didn’t even do an ultrasound to make sure everything had come out. We ended up in the ER five hours later. DO NOT go to these people if you can avoid it. They are the worst and they don’t care at all.
Brought daughter for her first gynecologist appointment. I was told that I was a guest and couldnt go back with her. She is a minor. I should be able to go back there with her. Im a guest but you want my Identification when signing her in. I will be choosing another OBGYN after this.
I have been going to them go a couple of years because the last dr last the state so with my insurance very few to pick from this rule of if u only r fully vaccine u can pick to wear a mask and the rule that u cant have visitor especially if u r pregnant not fair for the other partner it didnt take 1 to make the baby. And plus its 2023 covid is not big so the rule no visitors should be removed. If l could l would found another office if l can l will before my next appointment.
My Gynecologist is Doctor Hamidi almost 21 years, I loved her.
I have been a patient here for a long time. I have seen I believe every doctor at one time, but the past couple of years I have been scheduling with just Dr. Bim. She is very sweet and makes you feel very comfortable and if I have any questions that I can’t think of at that time she always tells me to please call back and she will gladly have my questions answered. The whole entire group of doctors here are amazing and I wouldn’t plan on going anywhere else..
Friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for my prenatal appointments ever since I found out that I’m pregnant, currently 29 weeks. No issues, every appointment has went by smooth.
I’ve been with this practice for about 4 years now and I absolutely love it!! Every last one of the doctors are amazing. The staff as well. The office is updated and usually clean. Wait times vary. Nothing that has ever been too extreme and if the wait will be a bit longer, they do a great job of communicating with you. The front desk receptionists are fantastic. I wish I knew their names so I could acknowledge them properly but it’s usually the same two ladies any time I go. They are always so pleasant and helpful with anything I may need. The nurses are great also. I’ve seen just about every doctor and np in the practice and the nurses that assist them are wonderful as well! Always so upbeat and personable. I feel so comfortable every time I visit. I recently delivered my second child with them and received prenatal care. I don’t think I’d ever want to deliver somewhere else. I had a planned c-section and Dr. Bim performed the surgery. First off, I’d like to say thank you to Dr. Bim and the nurses of L&D at Eastside Medical. Absolutely phenomenal. The care was so great before and after the delivery! Any nerves or fears that I had were eased by Dr. Bim and her team. The energy in the OR was so supportive and filled with true care and integrity. When I delivered my first by c-section, the experience was a bit rushed and out of control since it was emergency. But this time my boyfriend got to cut the umbilical cord and I actually got to see my baby once she was out. Also the nurse made sure to take pictures for us, which was so special and thoughtful. The entire experience was a beautiful one. I don’t think I’ll want anyone else to deliver my babies. Dr. Bim, thank you!! Thank you for your kindness and willingness to answer all of my questions. Also, if you’re concerned about delivering at Eastside, don’t be! The hospital is beautiful and the mom and baby suites are spacious and updated. Wayyy better than where I delivered with my first (Atlanta Medical). Also they do some really sweet things for the patients, like a stork meal that is soooo delicious, for mom and dad. We got the ribeye which was DELICIOUS, lol! And they also gift you a cake from a really nice local bakery. Just phenomenal. Love this practice so much and don’t plan on leaving!
I no longer am on my parents insurance, so I had to change my doctor. With peachstate, I started coming here. Ive met 4 different doctors, and that was something new for me because before, I had the same doctor from beginning to end. Throughout my pregnancy, theyve been extremely helpful. I havent been disappointed with any doctor yet. I would definitely prefer to see a doctor over a nurse practitioner, but Im very happy here. Dr. Carter, Dr. Hamidi, Dr. Bim and Dr. Iloabuchi are all wonderful. Id be alright with either one of them delivering my baby. Dr. Carter is extremely friendly and very informative. Dr. Hamidi is really nice and helpful. Dr. Bim is very straightforward and helpful with any questions you have. Dr. Iloabuchi is funny, friendly and very informative. Im surprised at how they keep up with information between doctors. I work in a doctors office myself and its hard enough with just one doctor. I get in and out at a decent rate. It is a doctors office, so I do expect to wait a bit. They also send out about 3 reminder texts so you know when your appointment is. HELPFUL. I was worried about coming here at first, but Im happy I did. Any question I have, I ask and they get answered.
I see Dr. Johnson. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. She also did a life-saving surgery on me when my uterus ruptured and I almost died. I have seen her for the past four and a half years. I also have seen Dr. Mojick. He is great. The office staff is courteous and nice. The office itself is nice. I actually look forward to going in for my annual to see everybody. Love it here and wont go anywhere else.
I highly recommend this OB/GYN. I’ve been going here for about 7 years. They have always treated me with dignity and respect. I recently had a baby. I was going to go to another Ob due to travel and traffic. Let me tell you. I’m beyond grateful that we decided to continue our visit here. I don’t think I would have gotten the love nor care anywhere else. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk checking you in and out, to every MA, to the both ultrasound techs, to my favorite lab lady (she so sweet and gentle) , the beautiful doctors and midwives. EVERYONE. They are all amazing. I can’t be more horned nor grateful to be able to be under their care. Thank you guys. XOXOXO DM
Dr. Iloabuchi is very warm and personable. She is also very professional and explained my health issues clearly to my understanding. She is very thorough and went over and above to make sure I got the right care that I needed.
What an awesome group! I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors and staff. I was an extremely high risk pregnancy. Gwinnett Ob/Gyn was extremely attentive. The answered all my questions, sent me to all the right specialists, and resolved any concerns. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who wants to receive world class service.
I just received a phone call about setting up an online appointment and I received a call back. The receptionist asked for my insurance information which I didn’t have with me at the time. She mentioned that she would just put me down as self pay since I didn’t have that information available. Then we tried to schedule my appointment for Friday and she mentioned that there were no times available for the afternoon. I said to her that I would have to just call back because she seemed frustrated and I was getting a little frustrated. This lady hung up in my face!!! How unprofessional? I will be contacting this office tomorrow morning to figure out who she was. I’ve been coming here since 2011 and I’ve never been disrespected nor have I came in contact with anyone who works in this office that was so rude to me! That wasn’t acceptable at all
I LOVE this place! I have been a patient of Dr. Hamidi for almost 22 years! Never have had any problems with them. Ive had several surgeries/procedures, had my child and continue to be cared for by them. I have recommended them to several of my friends and they have been very pleased as well.
I have now had the misfortune of dealing with this office now through multiple pregnancies of family and I recommend you find another facility asap! The lack of communication and miscommunication between the doctors here and the specialists they use is deplorable! If you are high risk, run. If you are susceptible to issues at all, run. If you simply want to deal with doctors who have bedside manner, run. This is not the place for a pleasant and enjoyable pregnancy journey! You have been warned! I could go on and on and name names specifically, but leaving this review has already taken valuable time I cant get back and they arent deserving of anymore of my time or energy! DO NOT COME HERE!
This office is a joke!!! The front 2 ladies in the front are so untrained it’s ridiculous. My appt was schedule for ultra sound and when I came in the nurse advised me I wasn’t schedule for a ultrasound sound after waiting 3 weeks for it!! This office is a absolute joke.. no customer service what’s so ever. oh and don’t get me started with “practice manger” worst attitude ever. She really needs to find a new job. I absolutely hate this office and will not be coming back here. If you want good customer service don’t come here! Go somewhere that cares about you and your pregnancy!
I have enjoyed doing my prenatal appointments here. All the drs I have seen so far have been nice. Dr Carter has been my favorite. She took time to ask me how I was doing and how my holidays were. Taking an extra couple of minutes with the patient goes a long way. Thank you Dr Carter!
Dr. Johnson is personable, easy-going, thorough, and I trust her. Those are the good things that you need in this kind of business2023 update: though I still love Dr. Johnson I had such a problem trying to get an appointment that I had to look elsewhere. I’m kind of sad about it but I feel like the level of service on the administrative side has suffered.
The actual doctors were great, however the entire staff is VERY rude. front desk is rude and disconnected. they have no empathy for their patients as i watched several encounters outside of mine happen and i felt bad for the way these women were being treated, myself included. I have switched thank the lord and will never return to this placec!
We absolutely love Dr Mojcik and are so happy he was the one to deliver our little girl. He’s very personable and professional. I was always very comfortable under his care and confident in his abilities/knowledge. He definitely makes you feel cared about.
This place is horrible. I will give it ZERO stars! For starters, this is my first child and I never felt comfortable going to this OB GYN. Their number one goal is money and they lack customer service.I am currently pregnant and have a large fear of what to expect, being new to the area, I thought Gwinnett Womens OB GYN would be a great fit, I was wrong. There was a moment in time that my insurance switched from my employer to my Husbands, and I had to pay out of pocket for one visit. During the time I was a paying client, they rushed me in and rushed me out. I did not feel like my needs were met, let alone, I still have yet to receive my anatomy test. Therefore, if it were not for the outside 3D ultrasound I had, I would not know the gender of my child. I am still unsure if my babys lungs are developing fully, if his heart is functioning correctly, etc. I tired calling them today, I was placed on hold for more then 30 minutes (the entire length of my lunch break.) When I called back (around 3:15, mind you their office doesnt close until 4:45pm) their system was going haywire and was breaking up, preventing me from understanding the automated selections.I wanted to ask when my next appointment date and time and if I would receive my anatomy scan. You would think they would have that in their file and would have stated to me that I needed that done my last appointment since it was missed during my 18 week appointment, wrong, they did nothing of the sort. They took another pee test and listen to the his heart beat and sent me on my way. Also, they seem to know little to nothing about billing as their system keeps attempting to bill my old insurance and not the new one, sending me bill after bill in the mail that my insurance covers, killing trees and forcing me to take time out of my day to correct an issue they should have accurate in their system. If you are a first time mom, please find another OB to see. I can say the doctors seem nice, but with a place thats all about the money and collecting from insurance over the wellness of their patient and unborn child, yea, seek elsewhere.
I cant say enough good things about the gynecologists at Gwinnett! Only a few gynos can match their wealth of knowledge and expertise regarding womens health from routine appointments to surgical procedures. They answered all of my questions and put me at ease.
I have been going to them for years, and the staff has remained consistent with delivering professional and friendly service. Dr. Iloabuchi is phenomenal, and very personable. Scheduling is flexible, and the wait time is fairly short. Great Ob/Gyn office if youre looking for one in the area.
I used to go to a different clinic in snellville but stopped after it took them 8 months to refund me for an incorrect charge on my bill. A friend recommended me to Gwinnet and they are the best obgyn out of all the 4d ultrasounds near me ive been to
Dr Mojcik was my doctor and he was AMAZING. I had a very complicated situation and many different situations. However he went above and beyond for my health and I have never had a doctor like him. It saddens me for him to retire but I understand his perspective and he deserves the recognition for being so awesome. Thank you Dr Mojcik for everything you will be missed
This pregnancy is my first and I was really hoping my fiancé would be able to go to my appointments with me since this is our first child. Weve had Covid before, hes fully vaccinated and we have KN95 mask. It would be nice if this clinic could make some exceptions so that we dont have this beautiful experience taken from the both of us.
Dr. Bimbola and all the staff were very nice. Had to go back for a follow up ultrasound and the ultrasound tech was very nice, personable and knowledgeable. Even though the ultrasound already told me the results Dr. Bimbola still called me to follow up and i appreciated that.Office and rooms were clean also.
I made an appointment because I was having ongoing complications, after being checked in for 10 minutes they refused to see me because I had my BABY with me in a stroller . They said only NEWBORNS are allowed , I kept explaining that I don’t have child care & that this is urgent. One of the nurses said that I told her over the phone that I had childcare, that was not the nature of the phone call that took place .
I enjoyed getting prenatal care here. The doctors and receptionists are all very sweet. They don’t treat you like a number. They really listen to your concerns and they know how to make the best decisions when it comes to complications.
Recently had my first and second daughters here. My first was born April 2015 and was delivered by dr Mojick. He was the only dr I liked at the time. All the others were rude and never took any of my concerns seriously. I had horrible swelling and after every dr told me it was normal I met him for the first time and he ordered tests to make sure I didnt have a blood clot bcuz the swelling was that bad. When my water broke I was literally praying for him to be the on call dr and he was! He was truly god sent. This pregnancy I didnt have swelling or anything but he wanted me to see a specialist bcuz I was struggling with hypertension with my first pregnancy. When I would call the drs line late at night with contractions or pains I never felt before I always seemed to get dr hymadi or however you spell her name and she just always seemed annoyed when I spoke with her and come off like she had an attitude. Long story short theres a new dr that I loved just as much as dr Mojick and that is dr illubuchi (spell check on her name sorry). From the first time I met her she asked about where I was from (bcuz were both African) and made me feel comfortable and got to know me as a patient. luckily this time I was induced and she was my delivering dr. When I was in labor she made sure I was comfortable and explained each process clearly and just did a wonderful jobs. She gave me options and she made me feel comfortable trusting her to deliver my baby. Ive seen each dr at this office and these are the ONLY 2 drs I would come back for. I came back this time bcuz of dr Mojick but Im definitely coming back for dr illubuchi also! I gave 4/5 stars bcuz the other drs I didnt like
I came to this practice during my first pregnancy so I decided to come back for my second. I was going to go to Emory because it is closer to my home. But after dealing with their professionalism or lack there of, I’m back here. I’m driving 35 minutes out of my way from Norcross to Snellville to go to this OBGYN because I feel it’s worth it and I want my baby to have the best care. Especially considering the hassle free and easy labor process they have set up with EastSide medical. They pretty much accept all insurance with the exception of a few carriers. All the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I see a lot of negative reviews about wait times but I’ve never been to a good doctor where I didn’t have to wait and they called me right away. Never. 9/10 if you’re ON TIME for your appointment you don’t have to wait long but sometimes they are busy because they’re a popular OBGYN. I wouldn’t pay any mind to the negative comments. I’ve been to some pretty crappy places and this is very far from it. This place is great and makes sure to take care of you and baby. If you have questions the doctors always answer them. I’ve never experienced having questions or concerns and a doctor not be able to answer them. If I need to talk to them during the day or after hours I always get a call back. These are great doctors.
Ive been a patient at Gwinnett OBGyn for 15 years, and I continue to be pleased with the care and the service. The doctors cared for me through a high risk twin pregnancy, and did an amazing job with my emergency delivery. I love doctors Hamidi, Johnson and Mojick, and am always happy with the staff as well. Many of the staff have been there longer than I have, which speaks so highly of how they treat employees!
I have been going to Gwinnett OB/GYN for a little over 5 years the doctors and staff are amazing and make you feel comfortable. I see NP Laura Bono and she is wonderful! Its so amazing to have gone through the whole stage of pregnancy with the whole staff and now 4 years later they are like family and love to watch my son grow up and ask about him every time I come in! I would recommend 100%
Dr. Ujuka A. Iloabuchi is not compassionate or considerate nor does she explain how she examines before doing so. She is a poor communicator and does not listen. She should realize what most patients want may be completely opposite of what another patient anticipates from a check-up. I would not recommend this doctor.
I love this office and all of the providers. Theyre very professional and kind. I had a high risk pregnancy and they made me feel so at ease. I had a surgery performed by Dr. Abodunrin, Dr. Hamidi did my C-section, and Dr. Mojcik did my twin boys circumcision. They are amazing doctors!! I cannot rave about them enough.
Wife was refused at her appointment check in because she had to bring our 5 month old and they wouldnt allow it. She had no option. She left heartbroken because she did so much work to get the appointment and our other 3 kids taken care of but the OB could care less. Have been looking for another office ever since. Have gone through their office for all our kids.
I have been seeing Dr. Mojcik for over 20 years. He is wonderful - he has a great, soothing manner and is very professional but at the same time makes you feel comfortable. Weve shared stories about our children and our lives throughout the years. I feel Ive received great care from him and the rest of the staff, and would highly recommend them.
I have been a patient of Dr. Iloabuchi for many years, and it has been a wonderful experience. Her front desk and clinical staff are a dream team. They are courteous, helpful, and thorough.
I had an IUD removal scheduled today and they got me in here and now they want to do a whole bunch of other stuff. They told me something about having to wait to check with insurance and then remove my IUD. I will pay for it out of pocket I dont need to wait and be given the runaround. This OB office doesn’t respect women and their rights. Wasting my time.
I love Dr. Iloabuchi! She was very accommodating to my birth plan and stuck to it- asking permission for any procedure that may have been needed to deliver my twins safely and naturally (which with her coaching, no birthing interventions were needed). I also liked Dr. Johnson, Dr. Mojcik, and Dr. Hamidi during my different visits.A huge thank you to all staff, Drs., NPs, and once again- Dr. Ilabouchi ❤️ Thank you Gwinnett OBGYN & Associates! Ive recommended to my friends and will continue to do so.
I took my daughter to her first gyno visit despite her hesitation. Her doctor was incredibly accommodating and understanding and explained everything in detail to both me and my daughter. I highly recommend thwm!
Ive been going to this office since I moved to Atlanta 2 years ago. Ive loved this office since. I am now 9 months pregnant and am very happy with my gyn choice. Dr Johnson Dr Carter and Dr Illobuci and Nurse Practitioner Bono are my favorites. The receptionist and nursing staff are amazing as well.
I always have a great experience at the Gwinnett OBGYN! I have been to them two years in a row and never had any bad experience!Dr. Haleh P. Hamidi delivered my 2 kids and she was great. One of the best teams of Doctors😁
I would not recommend this practice to anybody. The nurses and doctors were all very nice however very careless and all of my visits were very short. They kept charging the wrong insurance company and now I have to wait until January for my insurance to re-up. I took a pregnancy aid as a patient in their office last year and became pregnant with my first child a few months later. They did not put me on as a high risk patient. I also have a history of cancer in my family and I myself have been in remission from leukemia. I also have hyperthyroidism. I transferred Obs because they were careless and I ended up losing my baby at 20 weeks gestation due to an incompetent cervix which was not caught because I only had on ultrasound the whole 19 weeks I was there. My son is in Heaven but because of Gwinnetts carelessness, he could be with us in December like he was suppose to be. Do your research and DONT GO THERE for your babys sake.
Everyone in this office is exceptional. From the staff to the nurses and doctors the patient is their first concern.
In the past 2 months I have had to visit Gwinnett OBGYN four times and every time has been a very pleasant experience from making the appointment to speaking with the receptionist to the actual doctor visits. The last two appointments were with Dr. Ujuka Iloabuchi. She has the most awesome bedside manner and you can tell she truly cares about her patience.
I have been with them for about a year now, I absolutely love their office staff. They are all extremely intelligent women they will answer your questions with compassion and if they don’t know the answer they will get it for you. They have never forgotten anything and always follow up. Tyra specifically is an amazing associate and the nurses are also great!!
Love Dr. Johnson and Dr. Carter and have recommended them to friends that have also had great experiences. They listen and advocate for whats best for you.
I don’t want to put a story here, but I want to say that my experience with the office and Doctor Johnson was a good one.(delivered my baby 1 year ago with this amazing doctor that she took a very good care of me). All the doctors that I met are professionals and kind.
I have been going to Gwinnett OB/GYN for almost 7 years since I moved to Georgia, and I have had nothing but positive experience with everyone at this office! Dr. Bim is my doctor, but now that I am expecting my first child, I have seen most of the doctors and practitioners. Hate needles like me? Not to worry! Their phlebotomists are SPECTACULAR- I wouldnt let them draw my blood if they werent! Big thank you to all the staff members and doctors at Gwinnett OB/GYN!
This is my very first pregnancy and I couldnt regret any more that I chose this practice to see me for the first few months! I had the flu with 104 temp and they sent me home telling me Im fine. Two days later i test positive for flu and was beyond sick. They have no idea what youre there for half time- ( had me drink glucose drink and didnt even need to test it ), over booked appts so youd wait FOREVER to be seen, beyond unorganized. I wouldnt recommend my DOG be seen by these unprofessionals.
Every doctors office has that stigma of even though you have an appointment they never stick to it! This office they actually keep you on time for your appointments! Everyone is super nice from the front desk all the way to the nurses in the back! I absolutely love all of the doctors especially Dr. Bim and Dr. Iloabuchi!!! I recommended Gwinnett OBGYN to my friend and she now goes there! I would recommend you guys to anyone and everyone!!
Baby Number 2 with these guys and love all the drs especially Dr Mojick! Awesome and thoroughly explains everything.❤ However since Ive had my daughter theyve seem to have gotten New employees at the front desk and I must say NOT professional!!🙅♀️ Was sent to have a consultation with a Specialist by Dr. Mojick, the Specialist had to call numerous times before and after I had arrived to have my documents transferred over. And STILL did not do it. Had to call and speak to a NURSE who had it transferred over with no problems. Calling to Schedule, Reschedule, or even letting them know youll be a few minutes behind they do not seem to answer! I called quite a few times prior to running behind on an appointment, there was absolutely no answer, I get there and they look at you dumbfounded and remind you your appointment was at such and such time! Overall LOVE the medical staff however believe things would be quite better with NEW Front desk faculty.
3 stars only cuz all doctors but one has treated me very nicely and friendly, all have been really professional and understanding, seen one doctor here for my regular 2 week check up and felt nothing but disrespected by her and didn’t feel in any way that she cared, she was rude and very unprofessional, all other doctors I have seen here for my regular check up have been amazing and super friendly and caring but dr.Iloabuchi came off very rude from the 1st couple things she said to me, I live dr.Mojcik, he’s very professional and very caring and understanding, if it wasn’t for him and the other doctors in this office I would b looking to switch my doctors at 30weeks pregnant! If I could review the doctors individually I would! They all deserve 5 stars except Dr. Iloabuchi!
Dr. HALEH P. HAMIDI was great. She is very thorough and wants to ensure you understand whats going on with your body and health, so she takes the time to explain whats going on, what you should do (if required) and answers any questions with patience and concern.
PLEASE DONT GO HEREI am 26 weeks preg. and high risk, I have to take shots every week to keep my baby in and have had nothing but issues with this office. The office staff are rude and the dr dont care. The only dr that i had a good review on is ms Freeman. Anyway it came down to me moving Dr because I coundnt take it anymore and i also moved 5 month before but i was making the commute. So i field out the records request form and thought everything was good till today i called in and they said they lost my form and that i need to come back in a fill out a new one (i now stay 45 mins away) i told them i cant and that was there fault so she said it was nothing she can do (sarah) and i told her i wanted to speak to someone higher u she said she was the manager and long story short told me if i called back in she will call the police on me for harassment. So if you would threat me if i call in why would i go back into the office
Staff here is always friendly and very professional. Happy I switched to this office. After 3years of trying, We are very excited to be having our first bundle of joy. Thanks to Dr. UJUKA ILOABUCHI, M.D. She listened to all our concerns.
I absolutely this practice! I have been a patient here for 10 years. The staff is efficient and so friendly! I wouldnt go anywhere else in the metro Atlanta area! Dr. Bim is amazing! She is my hero! Hands down the best Ob/gyn in Gwinnett!!
Dont waste your time here. This has been my obgyn for almost five years and it is slowly falling apart. The doctors are nice enough but the staff around them treat you like trash. I tried to call them and set up something as simple as a yearly and I was treated like I was a waste of time and the receptionist was one of the rudest Ive ever dealt with. Working as a medical receptionist myself I always try my hardest to be polite to others in the field but she was just horrible.By the time I hung up the phone my blood was boiling at how repulsive her attitude was. And dont expect it to change when youre there in person. Youre just wasting their oxygen and taking up space in their lobby. They dont care about their patients at all. Find another obgyn.
Accommodating staff, knowledgeable doctors, clean office! They respect your time and stick to your scheduled appointment unlike other obgyns who are always late.
Dr. HAWKINS was great. Would recommend.
Trying this yet again since the first one doesnt show up like it went through...how annoying. I have been a patient here for 9 years and I love every staff member except for dr hamidi. She is new (to me) and she is the only one who literally told me I was wrong, walked out of the room and would not listen to me. She treated me like a drug addict who simply wanted a free high rather than the patient that I was who was suffering with pain and needed treatment. This was back in march 2013 and now is November 2014 and I am getting myself and my family ready to have surgery to treat endometreosis. That doctor would not listen to me. She acted like I was making it up because my cyst that I didnt even really feel was on the left side but the pain that was terrible is on the right side. It was then and it is now and even though Ive had probably seven ultra sounds between now and then at this office they never saw a problem on my right side. But Im certain they will during the surgery and how terrible should dr. hamidi feel for totally dismissing and walking out on a patient who is in tears crying out for pain and she just gets mad at me like im making it up and walks out before I could even ask a lot of questions. That is disgusting...everyone else at this office has given me five star treatment. I see why theyve all worked there for about ten years. Dr hamidi does not fit their standards of patient support of understanding. I have been mad because of the way she treated since day one and after finding out after all this time that Im most likely suffering with endometreosis which has caused me to be infertile and will have to endure a surgery after all this time suffering with the pain that went largely untreated it only makes me more upset. Dr hamidi is just bottom line a disgrace, she has no business working with sick or pregnant women. I hope she realizes what kind of person and doctor she is after turning away a patient who will prove a shocking revelation during surgery. She does not fit in or belong with this practice. That is the worst type of doctor there is who can make a pain ridden patient feel guilty or treat them like theyre making up problems that dont exists.
No bed side manners at all. Once you sign up with them they will schedule you every month just for the sake of attendance so they can get their money. Either they dont know or may be they dont have experience or dont want to deal with any situation. There is no option of giving them zero otherwise I would be giving them zero. After delivery I was in v v severe pain, they just kept telling me to take high dose of pain killers, plus they said Im having postpartum depression and they discharged me , Im glad I went to ER later and they told me i was having heart attack and have water in my lungs. Thats really sad that they didnt care about what I was going through. Even when the drs came to see me at ER they were rude and just wanted to show their presence. Only dr who is better is dr. Mojcik.
Dr. Anna Carter is the best! She actually listens and cares. She takes her time and you feel like you know her! Thank you Dr. Carter see ya soon
Ive been a patient at this practice for over 35 years. They have moved from Lenora Church Road, to Fountain Dr. to Tree Lane over the span of those years, physicians have joined the practice, some have retired, moved on, deceased, etc. I have ALWAYS received top notch medical care! I am a Nurse, and I was privileged to work along side the physicians from this group at Eastside as a L&D/NICU/Mother-Baby Nurse, where I was witness to the exceptional care, compassion and dedication each one provided to their patients! I have the highest regards for the providers and recommend them to all my family, friends and neighbors!
I was given an appointment for 8:30am, no text or email reminder from the office... When I showed up after driving 30 min to get to here I was told my appointment was at 8am!! Extremely disappointed after driving in traffic to get here for 8:30am!!! Alina’s gave me her card and asked to to wait another two hours to see another doctor... I am willing to show my phone records.. there were no reminders... and I was give an 8:30 am appointment. I’m about to start my family but will not be returning.
They delivered both my kids.. very patient, very personable, can ask as many questions as you want .. also used them for my IUD…. Still go here for my yearly checkups

Because the other doctors dont care ! They make you rotate with all the doctor just in case of an emergency and believe me you for not want any of the females especially Dr hamidi because she will leave you on the table to fend for yourself !
Dr. Carter is absolutely amazing but everyone else is so unprofessional here. I signed a reales form over 3-4 weeks ago and they STILL haven’t sent it over when they said it would take 7-10 business days . PLEASE DONT COME HERE if you are pregnant.
Doctor Hamidi Haleh, M.D. and her staff are always friendly and caring. I have been under Doctor Hamidis care for the last 12 years and I found that I can always trust her. She is a very sweet, gentle lady who genuinely cares about her patients and does what she can to make you feel comfortable, especially during the exams.
Dr. Johnson is professional and personable. I recommend her to anyone. She takes the time to really listen.
I have been a patient here for years. Just last week I gave birth to my son and Dr. Bim was our doctor. My son was born with an unexpected heart defect that pretty much prevented him from breathing on his own. It was an extremely scary time for me and my family but Dr. Bim was very supportive and stuck by our sides until they found out what the issue was. The staff and Drs at the Eastside Medical NICU were very proactive and saved my babys life and I am so grateful. Thank you Dr. Bim for being so awesome!!
I have been going to this practice for atleast 38 years. They delivered my 2 sons. The first was born in 1981. Doctors have changed; one of my favorites, Dr. Mary Horder, passed away, but I have still been satisfied and pleased with their service. I am currently seeing Dr. Hamidi and like her very much. I moved to SC this March and still drove to Snellville this year for my annual check up. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is I do not know anyone now except Dr. Hamidi.
My wife went to the ER threatening preterm labor with contractions and bleeding. Dr Bim was the physician that saw her in the ER. They performed an ultrasound and the technician did not even speak to us during the ultrasound to tell us what she saw. Very awkward moment. Dr Bim also performed an exam and asked if there was anything else. My wife was discharged home. She followed up 2 days later at OB and my wife was excited to see Dr Bim was the same physician that saw her in the ER, thinking that would make the visit go smoothly. Dr Bim showed little to no concern about how my wife was feeling and appeared to be in a rush to get out the room. When asked what precautions to take as far as work and activities she was told to do whatever she felt and speak to her job. I thought medically your doctor was supposed to give advice on what to do next. A nurse came in to give her a Rho gam injection due to my wifes blood type being O negative. The nurse stated she should have had this injection before being discharged from the hospital due to bleeding. The nurse showed more compassion and concern telling us she hoped we felt better soon. This was a disgrace to us and we wouldnt want anyone with Dr Bim attitude to care for us. That wasnt care that was a job. She treated us like that 15min window to get patients out of the room was more important than our concerns. We will be switching OB needless to say!
I wanted to have Gwinnett OBGYN Associates as my Ob, but they refused to give me medical care. The doc I saw was very nice, but I would not recommend a place that will not respect your religious beliefs or medical requests. We all have things we are ok with and things we are not. It is our body and we should be able to decide what treatment we will and will not accept for it.
