Gwinnett Gynecology and Maternity

I have been using this practice and Dr. Mann for many years and have found him to be an excellent doctor who takes time with his patients to speak with them and not rush through your appointment. I feel comfortable discussing with him any of my female health problems and he answers all my questions. He operated on me several years ago and it was successful surgery.

Dr. Ware is extremely professional, yet personable and most importantly shes thorough. Never once did she rush through our appointments and I never felt like I was just another patient. She listens to my concerns, answers all my questions with knowledgeable responses and ensures I don’t have any further questions before I leave. In my case, I switched from another doctor to Dr. Ware at 30 weeks pregnant. I WISH I had found her sooner. During delivery, she was calm and coached me through my contractions. She wasn’t overzealous or aggressive. This was priceless, since I chose to have a completely natural birth. Because of her, I had a very positive and memorable first experience. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Mann came highly recommended from two people independent of the other. I love the office staff (welcoming, professional, and a sense of humor). Faye is wonderful with following up on things weve discussed, and Jodi has the warmest personality and voice. Every nurse is friendly and caring. Dr. Mann is very thorough, and I just knew I was in the best hands. He educated me on my situation. I never felt rushed or pressured. My decision for surgery was purely my own. He checked on me during my post-op stay. Im impressed by him and Im his patient for life! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This was my first time seeing PA-C Betsy Weiss. Wow!! Im so happy to have found her. I really appreciated how knowledgeable, thorough, and kind she is. I never felt rushed. We went over many questions about my family history and arranged for the necessary tests. I highly recommend Betsy Weiss and also the staff was very professional as well. Thanks!

I love this office! I see Betsy Weiss and she is great! I usually can get an appointment quickly and am in and out! She takes the time to answer any questions and is very friendly and to the point. She is very knowledgeable and their office introduced me to Good RX, which has saved me a lot of money on prescriptions!

The entire team is absolutely amazing! Scheduled a new patient appointment online (totally recommend) received a call back advising time wasn’t available and that I needed to reschedule my appt. After informing front office rep that I had booked my day around this appt, she actually placed me on hold to check with Dr. Merritt directly, and to my surprise my appointment date/time was honored just as I scheduled it online!To me that speaks volumes as far as customer service is concerned. I was treated as such, like a customer rather than a number during my visit. Was welcomed by SMILING faces & a very pleasant office staff. Dr. Merritt was awesome! Her bedside manner was superb! She was very knowledgeable & interactive with me during my visit as well. Great first time experience!!!I definitely recommend this practice if you’re looking for an outstanding ob/gyn in the area!!!!

I have always seen Betsy Weiss PA when I go, and she is great. She makes sure all of my questions are answered and takes her time. The medical assistants have always been very nice to me as well. As for the office staff... every encounter I have with them, they are incredibly rude, especially the phone nurses. No one seems to care about helping you and they just rush you off the phone very rudely.

This was my first visit with Dr. Pressley, for my annual checkup in June 2018. Office personnel were very friendly and check-in was quick, then I waited about 5 minutes to see the doctor. I was very impressed with her. She was warm and caring and did not make me feel rushed. She explained everything along the way and answered all my questions without rushing me. She was gentle when performing my checkup and very thorough is inquiring about my general health. I would highly recommend her. The Eastside medical building 1800 was hard to find. Its to the right of the hospital and back behind it.

My experience here has been very pleasant. I have seen Dr. Mann and Dr. Ware. They both explain things so well and are very thorough. They really care and are very easy to talk to. The staff has also been so great and are very friendly. I’m so glad I switched over to them and have nothing but positive things to say about this practice. It is ran very efficient and I feel very comfortable here.

This was my first visit to Gwinnett Gynecology. I am 68 years old and covered with Medicare. There are not a lot of GYN practices who will accept a Medicare patient. I was greeted warmly by the staff and with very little wait time. The nursing staff could not have been more attentive and efficient. Dr. McGee was one of the most pleasant and attentive doctors I have seen recently and I have seen a lot with emergency surgery in the spring and an unexpected autoimmune diagnosis. The reason for the visit was not serious, however, Dr. McGee and the staff listened with respect for my concerns and made me feel very comfortable to be in their care. I highly recommend this practice.

You could not ask for a better place.Betsy is wonderful, very patient and understanding and she really listens and talks to you like you have been life long friends.Makes you really comfortable.The staff is absolutely fabulous. Dr. Merritt was amazing! She took the time to listen and when I expressed concerns she did what needed to be done to resolve those concerns for me. This is the most comfortable, professional, and friendly environment you could encounter for an ob/gyn office. Complimentary water and animal crackers while you wait. If you are new to the area or like I was and are looking for an awesome practice this would be the one!

Dr. Merrick is great! I went for my first appointment at Gwinnett Gynecology & Maternity earlier this week and it went very smoothly. I was only there for just over an hour and that included filling out paperwork. Dr. Merrick answered all of my questions and concerns without making me feel rushed. I will definitely be coming back!

Previously had a misunderstanding with this practice, I think it was miscommunication at its finest. However, I just spoke with Lisa McKee and she cleared everything right up! She made me feel at ease about my first pregnancy and answered my questions to the best of her ability. She even got me an appointment right away and worked with my schedule!I can honestly say that this office cares about their patients! :)

I have seen Kathy for years and appreciate how professional she is as my medical provider. She is great to talk to about any health concern I may have. She also does a great job of explaining what her exams find and what my best options are in treatment. I trust her totally!

As a new patient at Gwinnett Gynecology, I was pleased with the service they provide. All the personnel, from check-in to check-out (and in between), were courteous and professional. I saw Betsy Weiss, one of their PAs, and was more than satisfied with her care and concern. Visiting a gynecologist is stressful anyway but all these ladies made it much less so. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality care.

I called this location a MONTH ago.. they never would schedule me. They kept saying they would call me back that day, that week.. NEVER heard from them. At this point, I’m going somewhere else. This was a pathetic way to run a business. I’ve never had such a horrible experience with any doctors office. They gave excuse after excuse, with no intention of apologizing for my experience or truly helping to fix it. At this point, I’m at least 12 weeks pregnant and still haven’t been seen. Horrible, horrible! Go somewhere else and don’t waste your time!!

I have been seeing Dr. Mann for some time., Everyone in the office is professional and knows their job inside and out. On every occasion, they have treated me with respect and warmth, and have taken the time to make me feel comfortable while still providing the most high quality care. Dr. Mann, his nurses, and the other members of his staff are prepared to listen, and then respond with excellent treatment or information regardless of the issue or concern. I cant speak highly enough of him and his staff.

I have been a patient at Gwinnett Gynecology for 10 years. Betsy and the staff have always been approachable, friendly, and professional. They make you feel that they always have the well being of the patient at heart. I strongly recommend their practice.

PA Betsy Weiss is one extraordinary person!!! She took her time and really listened to my issues and concerns. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable talking to her. She explained in details what my next steps would be for proper care.🙌🙌🙌After having coward Dr. Nakita Levy from Johns Hopkins Hospital care for me and my awesome GYN Dr. Rhoades move to Texas from Baltimore I never thought I could trust another GYN doctor or PA again. I could honestly say, I would most definitely recommend PA Weiss to anyone with very high recommendations. Keep up the phenomenal work PA Weiss!!! 💐I must add my overall experience with the office has just been a pleasure and over-the-top from check in, to check out. A+ A+ A+ 💯💯💯

Going to the GYN isnt top on my list of favorite things to do, but Kathy always puts me at ease, takes time to answers my questions thoroughly and lets it be my visit and my time, not a rushed experienced.The other staff members are also efficient remaining both friendly and professional.

I was denied service by Deborah, the event coordinator due to her “still getting used to the new online system”. She showed a lack of compassion & initiative to assist me in scheduling a consultation. I felt this was lazy on the staff’s end because either way it goes, the system would still need to be used for scheduling. I was actually looking forward to being serviced here but I will be going elsewhere so I can receive the proper care and assistance I did not receive here.

I have been going to Gwinnett Gynecology for years and have always had a good experience! Most Doctors these days rush you in and out but not here. They have always taken the time to give a thorough exam and answer each and every question. Thanks to Dr. Kathy, an unrelated to gynecology problem was detected on my last visit. The specialist that Dr. Kathy sent me to was so impressed that this problem was detected by her. Thank goodness everything turned out so well because of Dr. Kathys expertise!

Dr. Mann is an Awesome Provider. My surgery went as smooth as can be. He followed up and checked on me periodically making sure I was as comfortable as possible. My incision is AMAZING, you can barely see it. I recommend Dr. Mann and Gwinnett Gynecology to everyone.

Dr. Janice Pressley is absolutely phenomenal! Not only is she highly professional, but she her knowledge base with her field is extensive. She is soft spoken, but everything she utters is profound! I would suggest any woman of any age to utilize Dr. Pressley’s expertise because she is thorough, has a fabulous bedside manner, and she is super supportive of your overall health and you as a person! :-)(-:

It was my very first time going to any obgyn and I saw Dr. Ware. She was excellent and she made me feel very comfortable within the uncomfortable parts of an examination. I love her as my doctor and I enjoy the staff there, they are very nice and I highly recommend them!!

I called 1 day in advanced to make an appt before I leave out of town and I thought there wasnt available. But I was wrong. I got an appt next day. Got the chance to meet Dr McGee. She is awesome! !! She came in like as she was a friend and not a doctor. She answered all my questions. And everything I mention she had that expression that felt that she actually does care. And I really like that. The staff is wonderful too!. Best clinic. If you ever make an appt make sure you ask for Dr. McGee!

I honestly wish I didn’t have to leave any stars. Unprofessional! No sense of urgency on serious prenatal/fetal matters. Takes weeks for nurses/doctors to respond to questions and inquires about unusual lab results. Long story short, this office was negligent on so many levels of dealing with my specialist referrals which caused me to have to deal with unbelievably difficult decisions and procedures.I called to have some lab work sent to another office... one of nurses “LJ” was very rude, unprofessional, and insensitive to my needs during an extremely difficult time. I have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism ever. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor’s office to anyone.

The staff here are wonderful. Dr. Ware is so personable, courteous and willing to listen to my concerns and answer questions. The ultrasound tech is phenomenal. Id recommend them to any expectant mother!

In October 2013, I was suffering from acute back pain. After many images and tests, I ended up needed an Ultrasound. Dr. Hammond was able to see me same day, and tell me that my issues I was experiencing were not female related. Which allowed me to follow up quicker with a Spine Doctor. I have to say, going on 7 months I am pain free since we were able to rule out Feminine Issues. I highly recommend Dr. Hammond and Gwinnett Gynecology.

Dr. Mann is the most exceptional gynecologist I have ever had. Not only is it clear from speaking to him that he is top in his field, he actually educates me on my issue prior to giving me his assessment. Further, is staff is professional-a hard find.

Dr. Pressley is an incredible doctor. I highly recommend her to any woman looking for a fantastic gynecologist. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and really takes her time to listen and respond to your concerns. 5 stars!

I will start by saying that Doctor Pressley is great. However this practice itself is horrible and should be ashamed of themselves. To sum it up: My wife went to this practice years ago and eventually changed doctors due to it being located far from our residence. Then the week of thanksgiving 2018 my wife returned to this practice. My wife is an IC (Interstitial Cystitis) patient and requires frequent treatments to help with her pain. While at this visit my wife received a Check Up and a treatment. They charged us our $60 co-pay. Jill at the office specifically told us that for future visits when my wife just receives the treatment and not the check up the co-pay will not apply. This was amazing news because my wife really needs these treatments twice a week and as you can imagine $60 a time would be very expensive. So although this practice was 45 minutes from our residence and there were many closer Offices we decided to continue treatment at this location due to it being Free. Between that first visit and now 1/17/19 my wife made approximately 9 or 10 visits. This Office never once asked for a co-pay or said we would be charged. Obviously this was in line with what Jill had told us about it being free of a co-pay. Then earlier this week we received a bill from the office. Now they want us to back pay several hundred dollars worth of co-pays. My wife has contacted the office on multiple occasions and they have basically told us to bad and that we have to pay it. My wife even specifically spoke with Jill again who was rude and claimed not to have told her that, however even during that conversation she admitted that most insurance providers do not charge a copay for those services. That is basically admitting that she lied to my wife and just made an assumption that it would be free to us but never actually checked with our insurance. We confirmed with our insurance BCBS that no one from this practice ever called to check with our insurance to see of we owed a co-pay. My wife then contacted Jills boss and her boss who both refused to waive our bill. BCBS confirmed that it was no issue for the doctors office to waive the fee if they so chose to do so. At the end of the day we were lied to by this practice. Then they let our bill build up to over $500 and hit us with it. Then they refuse to fix their error and make it right. My wife being an IC patient and having 3 children we have already ended up with over $5000 in medical bills in 2018 that we must pay out of pocket. The amount of money the Office is charging us after lying to us is devastating to a family dealing with medical issues that there is no cure for and are already just barely getting by living paycheck to paycheck. I sure this review makes no difference to this practice but it needs to be said. Do not trust this place. Then know ahead of time when they do mess up they will not correct their mistake. They will make you pay for it. We will be exploring other options to deal with this practice but at the end of the day we will have to locate a pro-bono attorney. Thanks Gwinnett Gyno for making a patient with a non curable disease and her family go through this.

Betsy is wonderful! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Truly listens to your problems. Wait time was pretty average for an MD office. The MA/Nurse that assisted me and Betsy was very kind and helpful as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Mann for 12 years. He has always been very attentive to every need and question I have. His staff is polite, prompt, courteous and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him.

Ive been a patient for over 10 years. Recently, I found a lump in my breast, called the office, and they offered to see me that afternoon. Saw Dr. Pressley who ordered tests right away. Dr. Pressley said that she would pray for me and I said, How about now? She prayed for me with such conviction. So blessed to have a physician of faith. Highly recommend this Group and Dr. Pressley.

I love Dr Mann and his staff. He knows so much and knows how to explain it well. The only bad thing I have called his surgery coordinator twice now and still haven’t received a call back.

I took my elderly Mother to see Dr. Mann for the first time. Dr. Mann was very informative and did a through evaluation of my Mom. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Im so glad we found this practice.

Worst experience of my life. Went in with severe pelvic pain amd was told i have endometriosis amd to take alieve as it is recognized as treatment. 4 weeks later im in the er. Dont go here. Please. Save yourself the time and trips

The office is clean, beautifully designed, and staff is AMAZING so glad I made the choice to come here. Overall the doctors and nurses are very sweet and understanding, I would absolutely recommend coming here for any gynecological services.

Worse experience ever! They forgot about me and told us they had no idea why I was there then I explain its for an ultra sound then they proceeded to tell me they never schedule me for that. It was a complete unorganized mess and not once did they apologize they dismissed me to check out and I did not see the doctor. I find it absolutely ridiculous.

They were going to get back in touch with me on two test results. I ended having to call them to get my results. Very frustrating. My visit with the Doctor was great!

Horrible wont give me appointment to check whats wrong with me and I told staff Im bleeding abnormal I am very scared but they dont care. Just send me to ER when i have been there already all they do is refer to a GYN which i call one today just to be redirected back to ER....horrible I could of something seriously wrong but cant get help. 😢😢😢😢
