I was referred here by my primary doctor for my pregnancy, for my 1st appointment they booked it 2 months out, that should have been a red flag. Everything got scheduled late, my sugar glucose lab test was scheduled after being 6 months pregnant even though I was considered high risk pregnancy. On my delivery date, the doctor showed up when baby was already more than half out.After baby was born, I called Aspen to schedule new born check up. The day of the appointment, I show up just for them to tell me that baby cant be seen because of the insurance. Before that I had scheduled a 6 week postpartum & IUD insertion appointment before the baby was born, they ran my insurance the day they made the appointment and said I was good to go. Today I show up for my appointment just for the front medical assistant to tell me that my insurance wont cover my IUD insertion, I asked her to speak to the office manager and she ignored my request. She made it seem, like I didnt understand that my insurance wouldnt cover it and told to go back to my primary to get a referral. If that was the case they should have called me or told me when they called to confirm the appointment to let me know that the insurance wasnt going to cover it, instead of waiting until Im there in person. The front end staff needs more training on how to do their job like running insurance prior to appointments or leave notes in the system to keep each other up to date. Coronas office has a better wait time than Riversides office has 2+ hours.
Our 4 children were patients here, until today. For nearly a decade, we have seen the steady decline that is Aspen Medical group. The front office workers are deplorable and should be ashamed of themselves. They do not have any degree of professionalism in the slightest. The old grossly overweight Mexican woman that sits to the left of all of the others needs to go; she will be the death of this medical office. You will never see an actual doctor and the quality of care has drastically decreased to the point where I cannot, in good consciousness, have my childrens health being guided by such malfeasance.Today, they lost 7 good customers... We should have left a long time ago. Terrible care, terrible customer service, total hack predatory office.ZERO STARS!!!!BLACKLISTEDYouve been warned.
I had to come to this location for a medical clearance. I didn’t feel the same type of care as the Riverside location. The med. asst. barely spoke and when she brought me a pillow and placed it under my head it was uncovered and stained. I didn’t realize this until after I sat up from laying down. The office had an unclean odor. Dr. Huong was helpful as usual to my medical care.
Patience is key. This place is great and they get to the point. Everyone I have encountered here seems to seriously care and generally are in good spirits. Do not come here and be in a rush. Do as you are told, call when you are in the parking lot. Everyone here is sweet and doing their job very well. I have tried 3 other OBGYNs in a 10 year period and Aspen has made me the most comfortable through a delicate situation. I highly recommend to anyone and the location is awesome.
I started going here for their OBGYN , I fell in love with the staff and the office and just overall all their services and customer service . I gave birth and my son continued with their pediatrics department. I also began seeing their family medicine and women’s department . I refer everyone here. The doctors are amazing, the medical assistants are always on top of everything. Overall amazing office.
After today I will no longer be going to this place or bringing my children here. The nurses and doctors are GREAT! But the front desk receptionists are RUDE!!! My son had an appt and they called and told me not to come up until I called and checked in. They left me TWO voice messages stating that I had to call and check in before coming up. I sat downstairs for 20 minutes calling trying to check in for his appt and NO ONE answered the phone I even left a voice message. I get a email stating that I have to be $20 for a no show appt!!! I was beyond LIVID because I was outside calling to check in the entire time. I finally go upstairs and the woman at the front desk was very rude and snappy and with me. She stated that I should’ve just came up. I started to get that I was told NOT to come up without checking in. She then said “oh well idk what to tell you.” I always come in with my two children and she told me I couldn’t bring both of my babies in. It wasn’t what she said but her tone with me. She has a very nasty and rude tone every time I come in the office. I cancelled my sons appt and all future appts I have at this place! I’ve been going to this place for about 3 years and the women at the front desk just get rude and more rude each and every time. And let’s not you don’t like your job then find a job you like. Don’t take your attitude and frustrations out on the patients that come in. I can go on and on about how rude the receptionists are which sinks because the doctors are amazing here!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and at first I loved it here. However, the past few months the new receptionists they have hired are soooo rude and unprofessional. I called in about some concerns I was having. She told me I wouldn’t be able to see a doctor until the next day. I asked her if there was anyway I could see someone today and I told her my concerns. She told me again that there wasn’t anything available for today and that if I needed to see someone today go to the ER. I understand it gets busy so I was willing to take the next day appointment because I really wanted to see my doctor but before I could even get the words out of my mouth she hung up on me! This isn’t the first time the receptionist has been rude. I can go on and on about about the other incidents I’ve had with the receptionists at the Corona location. It’s really upsetting because I’ve been trying to get in contact with my doctor for the past 2 days and I can’t because they NEVER answer the phone and when you finally do get ahold of someone they snap at you. I also left a message for my doctor.
The Corona location for Aspen Medical Group has highly incompetent staff. I have only been to this location twice but will never go back there again. The first time I went, the staff took an hour and a half to just to check me in and verify my insurance. They also took several patients back first that had arrived after me. When we were finally taken back, they said they couldn’t fit us in to get an ultrasound even though it was our first prenatal visit and we had been waiting longer than anyone else to be seen.My experience today was even more upsetting. I was scheduled for an NT scan and arrived 5 minutes late to my appointment. The staff asked for my insurance card and then called me up a few minutes later saying they couldn’t see me today because I was 5 minutes late and that their policy had no grace period for ultrasound only appointments because they are scheduled back to back. My problem is not with their policy, but the fact that I was never informed of it until after showing up for my appointment. The receptionist did not inform me of the policy when she made my appointment and neither did the staff member who called me the day before to remind of the appointment. I took time off work and drove 30 minutes to get my NT scan done and all the staff at the Corona office did was waste my time. I reported my concerns to the clinic manager, and she was not even going to do anything to keep her staff accountable for the inconvenience they caused me (and other patients). I was forced to take additional time off work just to be able to get my NT scan done.My experience with the Riverside office has only been good. Save yourself A LOT of time and frustration and DO NOT go to the Corona office. I will never go back there again.
The Doctor and Nurses help you as much as they can. Its a very welcoming environment and the doctor i had was very warm and had great humor. Made me laugh very much. I dont have any complaints, my appointments go smoothly and the wait time is close to none.
Lazy, rude and not helpful at all. My son is in the NICU and my wife and I needed Aspen to put through an urgent request for a breast pump for my wife. 3 days later and we call our insurance for an update to see the status just to find out they never put through the request. To top it off instead of trying to apologize and help they give attitude.
Midwife is friendly but the ob doctor and stuff act like your a bother to them. Pregnancy is supposed to be a joyful experience when you get an ultrasound but here is a longer wait to get seen and less then 10 min ultrasound and they dont show you the heartbeat to hear. I cant wait for my insurance to change me doctors. I will not be going here again
Apsen medical group is rude, careless, and very unprofessional today me and my partner had a sonogram scheduled for today because my son has the cord wrapped around his neck 2 times we found out through a 3D/4D ultrasound place (the big reveal)…. When we got here 1 is took them 10 mins to answer the phone 2 we my partner check they did even know why she had a appointment… my partner told them why! Then the doctor stated that the ultrasound people didn’t know what they were taking about….. I could keep going but I’m not this is just some of they thing we went Thur today at apsen medical in corona, ca!!
I am returning patient and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appt with them if you have an issue. They dont pick up the phone and nobody calls you back if you leave a message. I tried their portal to make appts and there are no availability till year 3000. This is frustrating as I chose both my family doctor and OBGYN in Aspen Medical. I will not go back to Aspen Medical group again. Save your time and try another place.
Wait time is horrible. Whenever I have an appointment scheduled I already know it will be an hour after the scheduled time and THEN 30 or so minutes for the PA or doctor to see you.I am on my second pregnancy and know what the symptoms to choleostasis are due to my first pregnancy . I requested to see a Dr. to verify that what was happening again. He said “ most woman are usually itchy and it’s normal” I told him this was different and I had already gone through this with my first baby and to please schedule labs. He was very hesitant and careless. He noticed I was getting very emotional/angry and agreed. I switched clinics that day and my new dr did verify I indeed have choleostasis, will be induced at 36-37 and will be monitored twice a week. The fact that this dr did not care for the well being of my baby or myself is extremely scary and disappointing.
Lazy to the point of dangerous. Main Dr is rude, rough, and awful. They dont answer the phone and couldnt be bothered to respond to my wifes neurologist postponing urgent care.
Dr. Sunny misunderstands you and doesnt communicate anything properly. Then blames it on you. Takes forever to get an appointment, and is rude. Had an anxiety attack after the appointment thanks. Ive been going in circles with this doctor for weeks and she doesnt seem to listen.
Dr. Emeruwa is the best OBGYN EVER I miss him so so much . Im so sad that we had to move right befor delivering my 7th child he always understood me and was always the most kind and gentle dr. I was his patient for over 20 years I hope and pray that one day I will be able to go back to his office! There is no one out there like him ! Thank you dr. Emeruwa for always being so kind and caring to me. I miss you lots and hope to be your patient again in the future.
Horrible and very unprofessional. Made an appointment 3 months ago. She won’t refill my insulin I think because I haven’t seen her Now they say my appointment is cancelled but how do I get my insulin?!?! I guess I’m just supposed to die. Why won’t my own doctor refill my meds? This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered.
Dr Sunny is great but takes over a month to get an appt and the wait times are insane! I’m here again and on hour two wait time! My time is valuable but obviously they don’t think so! I’ll be switching doctors because of this! I can’t miss work and can’t spend a day here!
Im a first time mom and my exprecine with aspen has been horrible. Staff is rude and so unprofessional. ive been trying to see my doctor for the past week and they dont have appointments available till the end of the month.
The staff at this location are unorganized and cannot do simple tasks. The Doctor is kind and very knowledgable, but it feels like pulling teeth to get the staff to do anything.
This place is a joke. I wish there was an option for 0 stars since that is what they deserve. The care they provide is mediocre at best. Staff is rude and not willing to help.
I really feel that the physicians and physicians assistants are skilled, knowledgeable, and caring.I have been coming here for years and I feel that I am well cared for.
